I'm sharing some photos with you from our trip to Eastern Rhodopes.
The village of Borovitsa(or Chamdere), hidden in the Eastern Rhodopes, is the place where time loses its meaning, the beauty of nature is breathtaking and the only livelihood of the people is cows.
Село Боровица(или Чамдере), скрито В Източните Родопи, е място където времето губи значение, красотата на природата спира дъха, а единственият поминък на хората са кравите.
The village of Borovitsa is a place you won't find on the tourist maps. The village is hidden among the hills, but what is unique here is the combination of pine forests and the tranquility of the Borovitsa River, whose curves smoothly merge with the Arda.
Село Боровица е място, което няма да откриете на туристическите карти. Селото е скрито сред хълмовете, но уникалното тук е комбинацията от борови гори и спокойствието на р. Боровица чиито извивки плавно се сливат с Арда.
The silence here brings timelessness, the only noise you can hear is the chatter of the flocks of the sheep coming here from grazing.
Тишината тук носи безвремие, единственият шум който може да чуете е от чамовете от стадата овце, които се прибират от паша.
In the village of Borovitsa you will hardly hear Bulgarian speech, nor will you see a church. Language and faith are the roots from which you can never escape. What binds people here is poverty. It's what's helps them retain their humanity, love of life and ability to be happy just because you exist.
В село Боровица трудно ще чуете българска реч, нито пък ще видите църква. Езикът и вярата са корените, от които човек не може да избяга. Това което свързва хората тук е бедността. Именно тя им помага да запазят човечността, любовта към живота и умението да бъдеш щастлив, просто защото те има.
Nearby is the Utrobata cave, the climb takes about an hour. Another fabulous place is the village of Glavatartsi, located on the banks of the Kardzalli Dam. This is my third visit to the village.
В близост е и пещера Утробата. Изкачването е около час. Друго приказно място е село Главатарци, намиращо се на брега на язовир Кърджали. Това ми е трето посещение на селото.
Leaving this fabulous area, we stopped every two minutes to take in the view. I couldn't tear my eyes away it's hard to partwith this place every time.
Напускайки тази приказна местност, спираме на всички 2 минути, за да се на следим на гледката. Не можех да откъсна очи, всеки път е трудно да се разделя с това място.
