En esta ocasión quiero compartirles mi combinación para ir a mi entrevista de trabajo. Quizá algunos no lo saben pero soy abogada, así que el estilo que usualmente utilizo es uno bastante formal o formal-casual que este es el que elegí para esta ocasión. Al recibir la llamada de que había sido seleccionada para ir a la entrevista, me invadieron muchísimos sentimientos de felicidad, nervios y mucha emoción pero luego de calmar un poco toda esa ola de emociones, me puse a pensar en que debía usar para esta entrevista así que me puse a buscar como loca en mi closet jajaja! 😅
Hello hello, my beautiful and appreciated hivers friends! It's a pleasure as always to be back in this community that I adore. This time I want to share with you my combination to go to my job interview. Maybe some of you don't know it but I'm a lawyer, so the style I usually use is quite formal or formal-casual and this is the one I chose for this occasion. When I received the call that I had been selected to go to the interview, I was overcome with a lot of feelings of happiness, nerves and excitement but after calming down a bit all that wave of emotions, I started thinking about what I should wear for this interview so I started looking like crazy in my closet hahaha!😅
Debo admitir que me frustré porque por supuesto siempre que se nos presenta algo importante donde debemos ir, queremos lucir lo más presentables que nos sea posible y al ser mi primera entrevista como abogada, realmente quería causar una buena impresión. Tuve que detenerme un momento y pensar ¿Que era lo que quería que percibieran al yo entrar a la entrevista? Y es ahí donde tuve claro estos puntos: Seguridad, naturalidad, confianza y formalidad. Quería que todo esto fuese transmitido al entrar a esa sala donde sería entrevistada y ya que en la llamada me indicaron que esta sería una entrevista semi-formal, pensé en usar un jean ya estaba perfectamente permitido, así que ahora trabajando con esos puntos y teniendo presente que usar un jean era lo único en mi atuendo que tenía seguro, comencé a buscar el resto de piezas que conformarán todo el outfit y lograra cumplir con todos los puntos.😌
Elegí utilizar un body negro, cuello de tortuga pues este modelo de cuello siempre me ha encantado muchísimo, adoro como luce y personalmente pienso que le da un toque de elegancia a cualquier atuendo que estemos usando. Lo elegí por ese motivo y también porque siempre he pensado que el color negro nos hace ver con mucha más formalidad, transmite fuerza y seguridad y al ser mi color favorito estaba segura de que me sentiría mucho más cómoda, que es otra de las cosas que quería sentir, pues así podría estar un poco más segura de mi misma y calmada ya que los nervios los tenía de puntas jajaja!😂
I must admit I got frustrated because of course whenever we are presented with something important to go to, we want to look as presentable as possible and being my first interview as a lawyer, I really wanted to make a good impression. I had to stop for a moment and think about what I wanted them to perceive when I went into the interview. And that's where I was clear on these points: Security, naturalness, confidence and formality. I wanted all this to be transmitted when entering the room where I would be interviewed and since in the call I was told that this would be a semi-formal interview, I thought that wearing a jean was perfectly allowed, so now working with these points and keeping in mind that wearing a jean was the only thing in my outfit that I was sure of, I started to look for the rest of the pieces that would make up the whole outfit and that would fulfill all the points.😌
I chose to wear a black bodysuit, turtleneck because I have always loved this type of neckline, I love how it looks and personally I think it gives a touch of elegance to any outfit we are wearing. I chose it for that reason and also because I have always thought that the black color makes us look much more formal, it transmits strength and security and being my favorite color I was sure that I would feel much more comfortable, which is another thing I wanted to feel, so I could be a little more confident and calm because I had my nerves on edge hahaha!😂
Como se puede apreciar en la fotografía, este body es de tela un poco delgada y eso permite ver mi brasier lo que por supuesto no era lo ideal al ser una entrevista como abogada para un trabajo bastante formal, así que decidí utilizar un blazer que tengo desde hace algún tiempo y me fascina, amo usarlo, amo como luce en mi y amo el estilo de oficina que le da a cualquier outfit en el que lo he usado. Además de esto, se veía hermoso combinado con el body cuello de tortuga. Ustedes pensaran ¿Solo negro? Y la verdad es que, adoro mucho este color y además pienso que al lucir un atuendo así, irradiamos una total seguridad y carácter, algo escencial en este tipo de trabajos así que si, decidí irme por este color en mi combinación.🖤
As you can see in the picture, this bodysuit is a bit thin and that allows to see my bra which of course was not ideal as it was an interview as a lawyer for a very formal job, so I decided to use a blazer that I have had for some time and I love to wear it, I love how it looks on me and I love the office style it gives to any outfit in which I have used it. Besides this, it looked beautiful combined with the turtleneck bodysuit. You may be thinking, just black, and the truth is, I love this color and I also think that by wearing an outfit like this, we radiate total confidence and character, something essential in this kind of jobs, so yes, I decided to go for this color in my combination.🖤
Ahora, ya teniendo la ropa lista, tenía que escoger aún los accesorios que acompañarían todo mi atuendo así que como ya no debía llevar ningún documento importante pues ya ellos tenía mi currículum, decidí utilizar un bolso pequeño dónde llevara lo escencial y que dejara el protagonismo a mi ropa. Además también agregué un reloj que es de un estilo bastante minimalista y que adoro mucho porque siento que estiliza bastante mi mano y queda perfecto en atuendos formales. ✨
Now, having my clothes ready, I still had to choose the accessories that would go with my outfit, so as I didn't have to carry any important documents since they already had my resume, I decided to use a small bag where I could carry the essentials and let my clothes be the protagonist. I also added a watch that is quite minimalist and I love it because I feel that it stylizes my hand and looks perfect in formal attire.✨
Ya para terminar todo este outfit semi-formal, decidí utilizar unas zapatillas color negras que tiene un pequeño detalle color dorado y una forma un poco puntiaguda. Este estilo de zapatilla sin duda alguna es mi favorito, siento que al ver a alguien usando unas zapatillas de este estilo, luce bastante formal y muy sutil, algo elegante y sencillo pero que da un total toque de elegancia. Realmente quería usar unas sandalias con plataforma pero pensé en que como esto no era una entrevista tan formal, quedaba mejor para esta ocasión unas zapatillas delicadas y hermosas.
To finish this semi-formal outfit, I decided to wear a pair of black sneakers that have a little golden detail and a slightly pointed shape. This style of sneaker is without a doubt my favorite, I feel that when I see someone wearing this style of sneakers, it looks quite formal and very subtle, something elegant and simple but that gives a total touch of elegance. I really wanted to wear some platform sandals but I thought that since this was not such a formal interview, it was better for this occasion to wear some delicate and beautiful sneakers.
Así terminé todo mi atuendo para ir a mi primera entrevista como abogada y la verdad me sentida totalmente imparable y cómoda, bastante satisfecha con el resultado y bastante segura de mi misma que es lo que importante. A quienes estén leyendo mi post, recuerden que lo que usamos refleja totalmente nuestra esencia y tan solo con con una pequeña prenda podemos transmitir muchas cosas de nuestra personalidad, recuerden ser ustedes mismos y fieles a sus gustos pero siempre adecuado al momento.⚖️✨
This is how I finished my outfit to go to my first interview as a lawyer and the truth is that I felt totally unstoppable and comfortable, quite satisfied with the result and quite sure of myself which is what is important. To those who are reading my post, remember that what we wear totally reflects our essence and just with a small garment we can transmit many things of our personality, remember to be yourself and true to your tastes but always appropriate to the moment.⚖️✨
