RollerCoin describes itself as 'an online, virtual bitcoin mining game where you compete against your friends to mine bitcoins'. Essentially it's a long-term simulation game where you play games in a mini-arcade and buy miners to get your production of a variety of coins from BTC to DOGE. For a long time that's pretty much where things stopped but recently a series of updates have transformed the games landscape and future and I think that's worth talking about.
RollerCoin is a deceptively complex game but thankfully it can be played by those who are interested in tracking their numbers, making their own plan to improve them, and thinking outside the box to get that done OR those who are simply looking to log in once a day to keep their money machine running. In my opinion, the 'choose your level of involvement' based design is one of the best things about RollerCoin.
Want to know another great thing about RollerCoin? It has a well function app.
I think people greatly underestimate the number of folks worldwide who have daily access to a smart phone but not a laptop or desktop. When a game or other project can get an app on the market thats opening it up to a massive global audience. Not a lot of Play2Earn cryptogames have apps up and running. The onl;y two I can think off immediately are Splinterlands and RollerCoin. Both of these projects are booming and I don't see ayone pointing to the 'mobile gameplay' factor. It's a quite literially a gamechanger!
No matter how much you plan to check on your mining set-up once you have it set up I think It's important that you understad how the game itself plays. Miners and wins of minigames earn you power. That power is used to power up your miners producing Mining Power. You can then send that power to one (or more) of up to four coins. This will earn you a reward every 10 real-time minutes. No need to press any buttons, it's all automatic!
I've seen a lot of people call RollerCoin a scam because you have to play it and it's most satisfying if you have a small amount of investment to put in. I'm the whole time I've been using RollerCoin I've dropped in less than $150, so less than Axie, and have been rewarded greratly for that relatively small investment. When it comes to being angry that you'd have to play a game to have the gaming experience as some of the schollars over at reddit have, well, I dont think that's the kind of complaint a gamer has. That sounds like the wining of someone who was expecting a free lunch. It can be a shame how some of these games attract that crowd more than others.
The games aren't reinventing any wheels which is a good thing as you want to be completing as many of them as possible. This will earn you the max energy and, once you've upgraded your computer by winning a stack of wins in a few days, all the energy you earn will last an entire WEEK. This is HUGE.
This means the correct way to play RollerCoin is with as many miners as possible, winning atleast 1 game every 24 hours, and winning about 75 games to get you a top level computer so all the energy you earn lasts a week, as opposed to a day. The main tool you have to acheavbe this goal is the previously mentioned app. When RollerCoin is in your pocket each day it shouldnt be too hard to remember to play a game or two each day which, really, is all thats required for this optimal strategy!
Recently the RollerCoin team have had multiple large announcments, events, unique opportunities to maximize your profit. For one the past week was a double production weekend for BTC and this week is a double production week for ETH, WOW!
Perhaps most importantly the RollerCoin team recently had a really informative article that teased the coming release of the long rumored Marketplace update. Once the Marketplace update drops many of the racks, miners, boosts, and cosmetic items currently in the game or on their way will be sellable to other players. This again will be a huge gamechanger and make pretty much any of the limited edition miners currently offered highly profitable.
That said the clear biggest piece of news as of late is the introduction of seasons, season passes, quests, new boosts, and brand new miners! None of this reinvents the wheel but it's all just more RollerCoin to interact with an thats a very good things for those of us who are making money with it every 10 minutes, rain or shine!
Do you think the Season Pass is worth t? Why or why not? I'd love to get your opinion here!
RollerCoin is designed to get you to use it for atleast 30 seconds a day and, if you can, you are very likely to profit. Persistence is in short supply these days and, if you are just starting your investment journey, there are few things that you'll find as useful. As always, I hope this is in some way helpful for you!
