Got some sparking grinds in early this morning.
The sky was super smoky due to fires in Oregon and Nor Cal as well as here in Idaho - the smoke made a streak across the sky, making the overall mood a little gloomy.
Old trick, drill holes in your trucks and stick a flint in the holes. (I got some 5/16" diameter flints on eBay)
Use a little crazy glue or JB weld to lock the flints in and those flints will now spark when you grind on concrete coping or concrete curb. (no go on metal coping or metal rails, sadly)
Makes for a pretty cool effect, though!
I like to just go to my next skate session with friends and just not say anything.
Then, spark one up.
Then they go, "Dude! You made some sparks on that grind!"
And I go "Really? Wow!" :)

Thanks! Cheeky is a good word! LOL! Yeah, I use a GoPro on a stand and just grab the right still from it. Might do a slow mo video to capture the sparks flying.
