RE: Dangerous Skate On Laguna Beach

So I've kinda had mixed feelings about sharing of content that's not yours, since that has always been seen as plagiarism on Steemit / Hive. That being said I do want to see more longboard stuff here, and one facebook ppl share their favourite videos all the time.
Perhaps as a way to make this more ok on Hive, at least for me, you could make this an opportunity for both Hive, and the content creator themselves. What I mean by this, is why not reach out to said skaters, let them know you’re sharing their content on Hive, and that if they want they can join you can share your posts profits with them at no cost to transfer it to them. Then they hear about Hive, we possibly get a new user, and you are at least informing them that their content is being used. Win Win.

Well, since @nailyourhome always source the content and writes some of his thoughts about the videos he is sharing I do not see it as plagiarism!

Of course, I agree with the method @howweroll suggests and I am willing to support this initiative as much as I can!

You guys should both join the Skatehive Discord server and talk about it!

This is a nice idea for consideration. As mentioned by knowhow92, I have been indicating the video source to avoid plagiarism actually. All content used that are not ours would need to indicate the source.

K well i guess that technically isn’t plagiarism then, but still feel the source should be informed at the least.
