Yesterday was the first time I've ever tried skate photography and I thought I'd share some of my best attempts at doing so.
Capturing moments before and after achieving something you tried hard for is a genuine bliss and thankfully my brother @knowhow92 was a very good sport about it.
He helped me understand motion and focus on what really matters when it comes to this kind of photography.
I tried to capture every part of this experience and give it my own interpretation by focusing on what I liked most about it in general: everyday steps skateboarders take before, during and after their sessions.
I may not know much about skateboarding yet but I will forever remember this day and use the experience as a starting point to expand my horizons and maybe give it another try soon.

I love the way the pictures turned out! I've always looked at skateboarding with fear because of how dangerous it can be if you fall, but definitely when you take pictures or record videos of someone who knows how to do it, they look really great!
What cameras do you use? someday I'd like to get a professional camera but I don't know how much it would cost.

I've had the same fears but having a brother who skates for years helped understand and come to terms that falling or hurting yourself a bit is inevitable 🥲😂
I use a Canon 50D with macro 18-135 mm EF-S lens. My boyfriend gave it to me for practice. It's his oldest camera(he used to be a photographer). It's a pretty old(so pretty cheap) DSLR. Invest in some good lens according to your needs and give it a go!
Photography is fun and you don't need to pay a fortune! It just takes practice! ❤️ I'd love to see your work!

this post bugged my brain, the @xvlad board using the body of the @knowhow92.. new artist of montages on skatehive but no, are real photos of Haris breaking everything out there!
He wanted to try it out yesterday so I went with him and snapped some photos of him skateboarding. So much fun!Hahah @knowhow92 is my actual brother! The board is EPIC in real life. It looks VERY cool!!!
