I spent my childhood and adolescence thinking that it would be great to have someone to film all my sessions, edit and send me a beautiful video to post haha, sweet childhood dream.
This never happened... Few sessions with a paid photographer only when I was sponsored
Nowadays I decided to take my dream off paper and record each and every session I do.
So I can not only have more fun skateboarding, because I can skate without pressure. I'm not filming for a video part, or something like that to prove my skills to a brand's audience.
I'm just having fun on the skateboard, doing tricks. Yesterday when I recorded this I was super tired. It could have hurt me if I insisted on trying more difficult things, like jumping the gap, going down the railing, or riding the edge.
Well that's the message, skateboarding is about fun. And Hive made it possible for me to skateboard for fun and still gain some financial support for my efforts. So I record, take photos, make gifs, and write my reflections. In the end, the whole process is fun and enjoyable.
