Hello, my friends!!!
We arrived with our first major updates on our Starter Nature Deck, we are building it to become a Big Beast's Nature Deck, its concept remains the same, we need to summon heavy creatures. So without further waiting, let's get to our changes.
- I made this change because, at this point in the game, we prioritize clearing the enemy's field instead of dealing damage to his God, Awewoman performs this task better, as she can attack as soon as she's summoned.
- The Best Friends card is good if you want volume on your field and intend to buff your confused creatures, however, it works best in a Confused Beasts Deck, which consists of summoning many low-status and confused creatures to buff them all and create an army in the blink of an eye. Wild Hog will serve us better here, its status is much better than the creatures of Best Friends, it doesn't depend on Buffs and has greater survivability, a great early game card in general.
- Here we have a great change, I personally like the Black Jaguar a lot, I think it's a cool card and I was very happy when I got it. Its attack is bigger than its predecessor and its effect is much better, the Panacean's effect only activates once, while the Jaguar's effect can be activated every round, contact that survives after attacking.
- In my view, a Deck in which we prioritize strong creatures and offensive tactics, we don't need a Frontline that can't attack, especially when we have the Hunt warden to put in its place, a creature with the same defense, but with greater strength and being able to attack the enemy.
- I made this exchange thinking about having more pressure on the field, with a greater amount of creatures and a little more destruction potential, since we are getting to our high-cost cards. Bladefly proved to be a great card to buy time and destroy creatures.
- This is a massive change, Echocaster costs more to summon and its effect is inferior, at this moment no magic card we use will have more impact than Firewine, its board wipe power is gigantic. We have a great chance here to end the game or save our lives.
- Let's get to what matters. we have a very interesting exchange here, although Juggernewt has more strength, it costs 2 more mana, which is a huge difference, especially for a 7 cost card. I like armored cards and I don't think Guild Enforcer leaves anything to be desired, if the opponent is in a difficult situation, it is difficult to eliminate him, which opens up a lot of space for our big creatures. A very good Frontline for Decks in general.
- Well, here we have an impactful modification, again, we see a big difference between the mana cost of the creatures, remembering that 7 cost creatures take even longer to be used, even more, compared to the 5 cost ones. In addition to this huge advantage, Brazen Moose only loses by 1 defense and 1 strength and has a very strong effect, which allows us to modify the Favor of the match in our favor, an ability that makes all the difference.
- Coming to the highest cost creatures we have, we come across the Green Giant, which has a MUCH lower cost than its predecessor and yes, an even stronger overall stats, with its 7/8 strength and defense. Despite the Achillean having 3 effects, what we want to prioritize here is our firepower right!? So the Giant's Overkill effect serves us much better than the Achillean's effects. A card with an absurd benefit cost for its stats size and effect.
- Our last change also consists of lowering the cost of our cards, as you may have seen, I did this a lot in these new modifications, and the reason is that my games weren't arriving often on the 8 cost cards (and the 7 cost cards have been optimized for cards that cost less, but better). The Hunt can be used much earlier and bring us to victory many rounds sooner than we could with Flamebreather. In practice I saw that it is a much more effective card, we can combo it with the Brazen Moose or the Green Giant for example.
Hope you enjoyed our first changes to Nature Deck. In the next post, I will bring you the most recent changes I made to this Deck, it got really strong and even took us to Mythic more than once. I look forward to showing you all our Big Beasts Nature Deck in a much more powerful form.
LUCK ON THE JOURNEY, LONG LIVE CARD GAMES, AND CREATURES!!!
