Greetings!
Welcome to the weekly edition of my "Daily Grind" series of blogs. I have been testing a new Zoo War deck for over half a month. I must admit that for once I have lost any hope of going to the higher ranks. But then someone told me to swap Retaliation with Chieftain's Fury and the deck went off which gave me a +50% chance of winning. That said, my today's record is 3-2. I could have been an easy 4-1 if not for my costly first-turn mistake.
Aside from swapping Retaliation for Chieftain Fury I also removed two Iron-tooth Goblin and I added one more Feral Shapeshifter and another Soul Survivor. Without the Iron-tooth Goblin and Retaliation, my deck has become more aggro and finishes any opponent faster than ever before.
Before, this deck was a bit slower because I could only use Iron-tooth Goblin to remove relics and I can only use Retaliation to primarily remove frontlines and big threats. That said, goblin and retaliation sit on my hand while waiting for relic and frontlines. But with their absence and the presence of Chieftain's Fury and additional Feral Shapeshifter and Soul Survivor it has become a fast and potent killing machine.
This deck also can finish a Magic deck faster because of Chieftain's Fury and Soul Survivor.
Below is my record on SOLAR GOLD while using this deck.
Featured Match
In this featured match I am up against and very pesky Bomb Dragon Death deck. This death archetype is very dangerous if it can reduce its opponent's god HP little by little using a face damage card. But one thing that I noticed about this death deck is that if I can reduce the hp of their god always lower than mine there's a huge possibility that I will be victorious.
God Power:
Enrage (I always use Enrange against all other decks except versus war. I use Fracture when I am against another War deck.
Mulligan
I always go for my one-mana or two-mana cards.
1 Mana
I played Tavern Brawler. My opponent played Blight Bomd to kill my Tavern Brawler. My opponent played Deepwater Whelp.
2 Mana
I played Tavern Brawler to kill Deepwater Whelp. My opponent Bombfly and his god power.
3 Mana
I killed Bombfly using Tavern Brawler and I played Raid Reveller. My opponent played Blackfire Fledging.
4 Mana
I played Warmonger Smith and I killed Blackfire Fledging using Trial Spirit. I played Trieal Spirit to buff Warmonger Smith. My opponent played Brimstone. My opponent played Frost Queen Neferu.
5 Mana
I played Chieftain's Fury. I killed Frost Queen Neferu using Trial Spirit. My opponent played Brimstone. My opponent played Brood Parasite, Ragnarok, and Untol Greed on Brood Parasite to summon 4/4 Dreadhive.
5.1 Mana
I buffed Warmonger Smith and I killed Dreadhive, I went face with Raid Reveller. I played Woodcutter-imp, I went face at it was GG.

Your deck optimization journey was an interesting read. You're on track to higher win rates and better DP&E rewards.
It's always illuminating to check the composition of the best performing decks in GUDecks as the meta shifts and new cards are added. Especially if you are a competitive person and like to optimize for win rate!
Thank you. While it is hard to keep up with the meta, it is also fun trying out multiple card combinations in ranked mode.
Hi, I like your deck "Zoo War" with "Chieftain’s Fury" and "Woodcutter Imp", nice games my friend.👍👍👍
Thank you my friend
