Welcome to the weekly edition of my "Daily Grind" series of blogs. Control Deception is one of the peskiest decks on God Unchained. Most of the time, deck users have a higher chance of luck whenever I am against any of them. So, it is a nice feeling when I can beat them while using cards from my deck's domain.

As of the moment I am still experimenting with little adjustments on my War deck to keep up with the shift in the meta. In this edition of daily play and earn I was able to win six out of ten games.

Featured Match

In this featured match I am up against a pesky Control Deception deck which is trying to push his luck in getting a good one-man spell card from my deck's domain.

God Power: I always use Enrage against any Deception deck because of Blade Borrower.

Mulligan

Against a Deception I am very cautious to play a 2 strength card because of Umber arrow, with that being said, I am always looking for Valka's Captain as my opening card.

1 Mana

2 Mana

I got Tavern Brawler and Valka's Captain on the board. My opponent played Thievery,

3 Mana

I played Raid Reveller and I went face. My opponent played Golden Curse to give burn to all of my creatures. I played Blade of Styx.

4 Mana

I buffed Valka's Captain with Enrage. I went face reducing my opponent's god hp to 14. My opponent played Abyss Watcher.

5 Mana

I played White Fur Guard, and I killed Abyss Watcher. My opponent killed White Fur Guard using Fighting Fair.

5.1 Mana

I played Valka's Captain and Iron-tooth Goblin.

6 Mana

My opponent tried his luck with Thievery and got Vicious Rend and he killed Iron-tooth Goblin, but then he conceded.
