Welcome to the weekly edition of my "Daily Grind" series of blogs. I am still trying to make my Mythical Zoo War deck work in the current meta but it is having a hard time maintaining Solar Gold so I tried to make a War deck that is more Aggro and the result is of course an Aggro War deck.

My style of testing a deck is immediately playing it in ranked mode because it is where the real competition is. With so many changes I made while playing the daily play and earn I was lucky to win 6 out of 10 games.

Featured Match

In this featured match I am up against a strong Dread Death deck. Historically, my Zoo War deck has a losing record against any Dread Deck but today, my Aggro War deck was able to snatch a win while I was testing.

Mulligan

Against any Death deck, I am always looking for my relic removal card.

1 Mana

I played Wood-cutter Imp. My opponent played Carrion Eater.

2 Mana

I killed Carrion Eater using Wood-cutter Imp. My opponent played Gaping Pursuer.

3 Mana

I played Raid Reveller. My opponent played Uninvited Guest and used his god power to my Raid Reveller. My opponent went face.

4 Mana

I played Feral Shapeshifter. I killed Gaping Pusuer with Raid Reveller. My opponent played Dreaconic Priestess and he was killed by Raid Reveller with Uninvited Guest.

5 Mana

I played Grand Hall and I went face with Feral Shapeshifter. My opponent played Drad Rising and killed both of my cards on the board.

5.1 Mana

I played Raid Reveller and Valka's Captain. My opponent played Blackfire Fledging and Carrion Eater and he also played his god power to my Raid Reveller.

6 Mana

I played Lykaios Adherent and I went face. I killed Carrion Eater with 1/1 Hook. I played Lootable Corpse. My opponent killed Raid Reveller with his Blackfire Fledging and my Lootable Corpse. My opponent played Hoplite and Blackfire Fledging.

6.1 Mana

I killed Carrion Eater with Lykaios Adherent. I went face. I played Vanguard Axewoman to Kill Blackfire Fledging. I played Feral Shapeshifter. My opponent played Glinn and Deepwater Whelp.

7 Mana

I played Sole Survivor on Feral Shapeshifter and killed both of his creatures, I went face. My opponent played Bifurcating Curse and killed my Feral Shapeshifter.

7.1 Mana

I played two Warmonger Smiths and Lykaios Adherent. My opponent played a 5/1 creature.

7.2 Mana

I played Redfume Serum on Lykaios Adherent and I went face, he conceded and it was GG.
