RE: IMXcenter Expanding to Immutable zkEVM

in Gods On Chain23 days ago

Hey, I actually need to see how zkEVM works differently from Immutable X in terms of API requests... I saw they have a whole new set of endpoints, but I didn't go any further than that.

One thing you could consider is renting contracts. You could use membership tokens to pay for subscriptions or to offer discounts. The issue is of course bugs in the code that can cause leaks by hackers or for the tokens to be locked forever, for example. But I still think that could be a viable expansion of the business for you, enabled by Starkware's Cairo - that's what they're using, right?

Sort:

API it's mostly related to web2 aspect. Starkware Cairo is just a tool, IMX has some restrictions for smart contracts so it might complicate things even more. I already tried pure solidity and it's working fine, but I'll leave this part for later anyway: )

all updates are from year ago, I don't think its related to zkEvm

I'm not sure what is the point you're making with this screenshot...

this is GU API repo. ' whole new set of endpoints', where did you find them?

I was referring to the zkEVM API endpoints, which are a different set from Immutable X endpoints. Even the domain is different: https://docs.immutable.com/api/zkevm/reference/#/

mhm I know them, nothing new and it's not related to GU at all

But will be, when the migration happens, right? I need to learn this new API to be able to update my stuff.

no new endpoints for zkEVM for GU, With the current ones you already can get user assets, inventory, balance, orders etc
