Hello everyone, as you may know, the New Expansion: Fallen Age was released this tuesday. You can buy the packs if you are feeling lucky or choose to directly buy some Fallen Age cards available on the Tokentrove marketplace.

This new expansion has brought two new mechanics to the game: the Wither and Raid effects.

Cards with WITHER are obliterated at the end of the turn if they're in your hand. Therefore, you must use those cards before that happens.

Cards that have RAID are activated when you play your second card during your turn.
Remember: Raid tracks cards played from start of turn, not when the card entered the board.

In my last post I detailed what I thought about each of the Wither cards, now I will focus on the cards that have the Raid effect.

In the Fallen Age expansion, there are 23 cards with the Raid effect, too many, right? Let's see if these card will be useful or if they will simply be forgotten like many others.

Let's start with the two Atlantean creatures.

Umm, I'm not entirely convinced by its stats and Raid effect, it's suposed to be an epic card but it seems common. I don't think we'll see this card in battles. This card will be used a lot in magic control decks and why not in Atlantean decks, its effect is quite good, it allows you to speed up your deck by drawing spells.

Unfortunately there is only one Amazon creature, as I really enjoy playing this deck, I wish there were more Amazons :( . And There is only one Anubian and one Olympian creature.

SourceSourceSource
In my opinion this Amazon is not that good. I wish that his stats were reversed so he wouldn't be an easy target for the god power of deception and magic. It has 5 in all its stats. This creature is a great support for Death decks that focus on summoning strong creatures from the void. This light unit adds Edict of Peace spells (have Wither and gives a creature order +2) to your hand when it is summoned and when its Raid effect is activated. Pretty good card.

Someone likes dragons apparently, there are 4 of these creatures:

I think it will be good for War aggro decks since they use a lot of low mana creatures, which allows the Raid effect to be activated without any problems. This big Dragon, despite not being able to attack and self-destructing if its Raid effect is activated, I bet it will be very annoying against aggro decks.

SourceSource
Another dragon that is good against aggro decks. Draka can heal your god's health by attacking an when it damages the opponent god with its Raid effect thanks to its Leech effect.Unlike the other dragons, it is a neutral unit so it can be used in any deck. I really like its effect, as it allows you to draw a card every turn if it is not stopped.

Now, two creatures from the Guild tribe:

A creature that can Hide each turn due to its raid, but only has 1 health making it an easy target for area magic spells. Maybe useful. One of my favorites not only for its design, but also for its stats and its effect that adds Devious Strikes to your hand, whose spells cost 0 mana and deal 1 damage to any character you wish.

There are three Mystic creatures:

Neutral creature, starts with 0 strength but can increase it as the turns go by. I wonder if it will be used in aggro decks or not used at all.A card that enhances weapons. Maybe, just maybe it will be used in Deception decks that choose the Guild Shiv god power.Magic creature that starts with spellbost +1, and can be increased further each turn. It has 5 health, so it will be a bit difficult to defeat.

Three Vikings creatures:

Another hidden creature of deception, this time a legendary one. I'd say it has a pretty decent effect that allows you to add a copy of the last played spell to your hand each turn due to the Raid effect. Top tier. This girl may only have 1 HP, but let me tell you, she is very good against aggro decks, she can eliminate a strong creature and survive thanks to the Protection effect.Exile Chief is a creature that I would like to see in battles, but perhaps due to its high mana it will not be possible. Like his other ally Exile, he also adds Devious Strike spells to the hand.

Now it's time for my favorite creatures: the Wild creatures because they are literally animals and that's why I like them:

SourceSource
Three raccoons, costs 3 mana and has 3 strength and health, interesting. It can become stronger or gain more health each time its Raid effect is activated. Please, play it.This big bear has an effect that I love, it adds random Wilds to the hand, this helps a lot as it gives more resources to play. It has very good stats and can maybe add 2 Wild before being defeated.

Now the three creatures that don't have a Tribe.

SourceSourceSource
Good creature to support light decks that focus on using low mana units, this way its Raid effect will be activated, summoning Acolytes to your board, increasing your army.It looks very similar to Mantic Shuttle, I wonder why it's not Atlantean like the other one. It costs 3 mana and has poor stats, its effect allows to summon another of it, but I don't think that's a good idea.A Serpent creature, very cool. I wonder if it will be good for Death decks, it can unlock a mana lock each turn for both gods so I'm not really sure if it's worth it.

And now the only card with Raid that is not a creature:

Source
A relic for Deception decks, it can directly attack the enemy god when played, dealing up to 4 damage each turn due to its Raid effect. It has a mana cost of 4 but I still think it's pretty good, it can define many battles.

In this video from the Gods Unchained Youtube channel, you can see how the Raid effect works.

In this example: Dro, Ruin Rider is played first, followed by Wild Hog, thus activating Dro's Raid effect, drawing a spell and reducing its cost mana.

And those were the 23 cards with Raid effects, as you may have noticed, some of them much more useful than others.

As I mentioned before, my favorite creatures are both the Exiles and the two Wild creatures. Do you like them or others cards?

BATTLE PASS

Now, about the Battle Pass that is available right now, I managed to buy it last week with a 25% discount. I decided to buy the Shiny tier, which cost me 165 GODS. I really think it's worth it.

My Battle Pass is currently at level 14. I claimed all the rewards I could and opened all the packs, getting some incredible cards from the Fallen Age expansion.

One of the cards I got is the Gladeguard Assault spell in Shadow quality, and I can tell you that it is one of the best cards and a must have card in Amazon decks. It can deal up to 4 damage if you manage to have three Amazons on your board, and the best thing is that it can deal damage directly to the opponent god. It has already helped me a lot in battles and in the destroying of the opposing god, becoming one of my favorites spells, if not the best.
