Introduction Balmung

Hi Mortals! My name is Ivan Mazurek. I'm 29 and live in Argentina (Patagonia).
Can't be 100% sure about it, but I believe who introduced me to the game was CopperPitch... I had already seen the game in a few videos about NFT games and this one was the one that stood out the most, so I saw a few videos of his Youtube channel that were dedicated specifically to the game.
I had been playing MTG for a few years, but money to buy cards and keep my deck up to date had been an issue lately, so I was looking for a free alternative... When I saw the game, I thought, "THIS IS IT!".
Was a bit hesitant at first because I don't know much about NFTs and Blockchain, but still found the game fun, so I was bound to give it a chance... Since then, I learned a lot about the blockchain in general, and I feel now a bit more confident in investing in cryptocurrency.
The first $GODS I got were a total (and very welcome) surprise, and I got to forge my first card (a Skeletal Hoplite, I believe). Sold it the same day... Hate to admit I was way too exited haha.
What I like the most about the game is the fact that I feel the game gives something back to the players... Up to know, we have been used to paying to play and not earning by playing. I don't mean this to be my livelihood, luckily I have my daytime job, but I like the feeling that by playing you are able to get something like the property of the cards, in this case.
So far I like the community a lot, so I'll try to participate in it as much as possible, being this post my first of (I hope) many steps towards that goal.
To conclude, my main hobby is gaming (I play POE, Apex, Rocket League, Destiny, and many more, as long as my potato pc allows it) but I'm into almost any subject, I prepare mead and wine, I like computer science and coding and learning languages.
I think this is enough about me for now, good luck and SEE YOU IN THE ARENA, MORTALS!!
