I've been traveling with my family for the last 5 days and, since I don't have access to a computer, only a cell phone, I ended up being a little absent from this community, not being able to dedicate myself to write posts to share my learning and experiences with you.
On the other hand, during the trip I was able, for the first time, to redeem my rewards for the weekly event, obtaining a total of 8.60 GODS TOKEN, which for me was a great result and a great benefit considering how long how much I have been learning and evolving day by day.
This reward system of GODS UNCHAINED is really sensational and exciting, being a great motivator for us to continue to study and play more and more, always seeking better results.
So, in order to grow more and more in the game I decided to use the GODS TOKEN reward in the market, trying to acquire cards to improve my decks, my battles, victory percentage and, of course, my qualification.
And in this post I share with you which cards I chose, why I acquired them and what I look for in them, sharing with you my experience.
And here we go.
First of all it is important to mention that requesting the rewards of the BLESSING OF THE GODS event is very easy, having done such procedure via cell phone during the trip.
And this can be done quickly through the game's own page (https://godsunchained.com/token/claim), and for that, you just have to follow the instructions from the item "BLESSINGS OF THE GODS".
And, if you effectively qualified in the event and complied with what was requested, you can claim your tokens.
After that you can go to the marketplace and check your GODS TOKEN withdrawal through the "transactions" section, there your balance will appear in proportion to how much you just received as a reward.
And once you have the GODS available in your wallet, now just go to the wide range of card options on the market, choose the ones that best suit your needs and spend your GODS.
The God of Magic card deck I have is, for me, without a doubt one of the weakest decks I own, not having managed to build a minimally competitive battle deck, and the results I've been getting with it have proven to be very bad, which can even be checked in the post I made specifically about it (LINK HERE)
So, in order to correct this weakness, even because we need to have competitive decks for all Gods, I decided to spend my rewards on the acquisition of cards specifically for the Magic deck. And my choices were:
With only 1 mana cost Street Conjuror is an excellent card that adds to the battlefield a creature with 1 strength point and 3 life, which is very good considering its low mana cost, and, in addition, it has the ability to "spell boost + 1", which means it adds +1 damage to all future spells that it will use in the match while Street Conjuror is on the battlefield.
Considering such qualities of the card, I decided to purchase 2 copies of the card, spending a total of 1.95 GODS on both cards.
Starshard Bold is a card that deals direct magic damage quickly and objectively to enemy creatures. A great cost-benefit between the mana cost and its offensive potential, in this case, 2 mana for 4 damage.
Because I only have one other magic in my deck with such a cost of mana (Tracking Bolt) and only one card of this one, I decided to also acquire 2 Starshard Bold for the total cost of 0.34 GODS on both cards.
Another amazing creature to compose my deck.
Miraculous Familiar has 3 strength points and 3 life points at a cost of 3 mana points, being a good cost-benefit, on the other hand it has an amazing ability that every turn, when the first spell cast, a new random spell is added to your hand, an amazing ability, and all this without considering the fact that this is a Bleesed creature.
Thus, for such a condition I also acquired 2 Miraculous Familiar at a cost of 0.839 GODS in total.
To close with a golden key nothing better than a powerful legendary card to make a difference on the battlefield, and the legendary card chosen for my mage deck, even because I didn't have any other legendary card, was the incredible Demetrios, Playwright.
Its status is only 1 strength point and 1 life point, but it is an order, so it can neither attack nor be attacked, and can only be defeated through spells. Demetrios has 10 points of order and loses 1 point of order every turn.
In addition, when inserted into the battlefield, it automatically adds to its mother the card "Final Draft" which has the initial ability to cause 1 damage and draw 1 card at the cost of 1 mana, and at the beginning of each round Demetrios, if still in combat, updates the final draft increasing by +1 damage, +1 draw card and +1 mana cost, successively each round, an incredible ability. Cost of 4.65 in total.
Well friends, these were the purchases I made with the first reward from Gods Unchained.
I spent a total of 7.424 GODS TOKEN, so there was a positive balance of 1.17 GODS TOKEN to be used in a new purchase, as you can see below:
I hope that these new cards and creatures will help me get a more powerful deck, being able to form a competitive composition for the God of Magic, which I will test and present this new formation in another post.

Great post you are really making strides in providing great content. I have thought about using $GODS to buy cards. However I think the price of the $GODS token is going to get higher. So I did not want to use them just yet. I want to hold and see where their value goes in say 3 months. Or I might wait and use them to forge cards and sell them to buy cards I want.
I also had this doubt and dilemma, but I decided to try my luck, which was justified since my magic team was really weak.
But in the last battles I apparently had a good improvement in competitiveness with the new deck, I will talk specifically in another post with a gameplay vídeo 😊

Yea if it made your deck better I say go for it. I just think $GODS came out at a wonky time in the crypto market as we are sort of heading into a bear market. So I do not think we have actually found the true price of the $GODS token yet. I look forward to the gameplay video. Keep up the good work and efforts.
