Semi-Finals
In the first Semi-Final we saw Fastexe vs Nackarub taking it to an intense game 5 before Fastexe finally pulled off the win in the 25th hour. Brothers on Infinite Mana going head to head is never fun but they both played admirably. This was Fastexe's second match of the day already as his Quarter Finals was also played just hours prior.
The second Semi-Final was a weird one. Villabesti had been undefeated in the Swiss format, the only one to not only not lose a match, but he didn't lose a single GAME either. However, on this day he decided in one of the all time worst -EV moves to go into work instead of play in the finals.
This meant that Vlozkill was awarded the victory and he moved on to the championship round nice and rested, as his Quarter Finals was the day prior.
THE FINAL SHOWDOWN
This was it. The final showdown. After 720 Swiss matches, and a handful of matches in the bracket section, the final two were ready to go, playing for their share of the $10k prize pool!

The RNG on the day was quite wild, a real up and down rollercoaster for both players.

This is the first time that I watched a GU tournament match, the matches are intense. Both players started with the nature deck, I assume that both players seem to trust nature to bring them the first victory which I think is very crucial. With that being said, I think I am going to try using the nature deck. Good evening.
