Do you ever ask for people's permission to use their discord messages in your posts? Just linking to them probably isn't enough if you aren't linking to something that has express permission to be used by the creator. Or am I wrong there? Cheers mate, very interesting read. I have shared drafts in the past with people that will see their Discord messages in screenshots. Never had an issue.
Also I don't put the messages out of context. They can also click the link and see the rest of the conversation to get the context if necessary.
Finally, all screenshots are public comments. It's like taking screenshots of Tweets or Reddit comments, I think. Having said that, if someone requests I remove a screenshot of their public comments, I will do it.
