Before we dive in, mad props to @kephler for dreaming up the custom card contest this was made for! It took me a while to settle on a concept, but I think I've got a contender ;P
Something I'm painfully guilty of—no matter how hard I try—is falling into rigorous mental gymnastics whenever there's an opportunity to strategize, explore and create. CCG's/TCG's are one of my biggest weaknesses in that regard, because making a deck is an opportunity to be endlessly creative. At the same time, you might have noticed that I like lists. . . like a lot. . .
My name, Entrepidus, is also a play on the words "Ent" (from J.R.R. Tolkin's Middle-earth) and "Intrepid":
Adjective — Resolutely fearless; dauntless: an intrepid explorer.
in that I tend to be fearlessly thoughtful. This combination presents itself more as a meandering (wandering) mindset rather than an exploratory curiosity, hence the name. I love learning things in no particular order, so you can be sure that gauntlet runs often involve going back and forth between all the domains—usually at random—until the task is done.
So, the Entrepid Wanderer is a condensed metaphor for my way of approaching games like Gods Unchained. I'm actually an introvert by nature (0 Strength), so I'm perfectly content being a wallflower (Hidden for 1 turn) while I learning a new game. A major part of my learning process is boiling down the information into something I can share with others (SoT: look at top card of opponent's deck), and once I'm hooked I'll keep coming back for more (A: shuffle into your deck), again and again.
To summarize the remaining details:
- I chose Cost 1 to mirror the fact that I'm often an early adopter. This creature could be a turn 1 play for a control deck or even an aggro deck if they have a second creature to drop along side it.
- The card is neutral to reinforce that I don't have a singular favorite domain.
- The 3 Health lines up with average creature stats at this cost level while acknowledging that having Hidden significantly increases the likelihood of at least one peek.
- I chose Amazon because it opens up the door for tribal synergy and seemed the most thematically appropriate.
- Rare feels like the perfect rarity for the complexity of the abilities while not being a theme enabler (Epic) or deck definer (Legendary). I also would want to be able to run two copies in a deck ;P
I was extremely fortunate to find several images I could mash together for the card art, and it even matches the ability kit! That guy is clearly wandering through a forest at night, and boy will he have a story to tell when he returns! (I even chose Meteorite because dang do those colors go well together!)
While it took me a few days to find the right idea, I enjoyed ruminating on my options while away from my computer. I really hope the community and/or the devs take advantage of the card generator to make future events like this!

I really like how you pieced together your card little by little with what characteristics you wanted to describe; it's full of flavor! Thanks for your submission!
You betcha, and I appreciate it :)
