Meta Overview: Ranks 9-12
This time I selected ranks 9-12 to show you how players are adapting over time and how the meta is actually quite balanced. For new players, War and Death have the strongest archetypes. They are easy to pilot, making them good choices for climbing the ranks.
War
War continues to dominate as the most popular archetype. It maintains a solid win rate, reflecting its consistent performance.
- Aggro decks: These are quick and versatile, often capable of recovering from setbacks using Chieftain's Fury and Rally the Band.
- Carvings deck: A super strong option in this meta, reliable for players of all skill levels. Piloting skill can further boost its performance, making it a great choice for competitive play.
Death
Dragons are doing very well! But to my surprise, good old Zombies are shining again.
- Zombies are performing well because they are an okay deck against War and even better against other domains.
Nature
- Amazons: A very good all-in aggro deck, but you need all the good meta cards to make it effective.
- Food Chain: Fun to play but struggles against aggro, which leads to a low win rate.
- Control: An excellent choice for ranks 11-12, but it struggles in lower ranks due to the abundance of aggro decks.
Magic
Due to the meta shifting towards Death Dragons as a top archetype, Magic is struggling.
- Ramp: Popular in the Mythic rank, but it seems mismatched with current meta trends or requires a high skill cap to succeed.
Deception
After GP changes, the guild archetype is struggling with a relatively low win rate.
- Mayday: This archetype thrives in a slow meta but can brick hard against any aggro, leading to an instant GG. Ranks 11-12 are the only viable spot for Mayday currently.
Light
Light is quietly performing well in the current meta. Despite its low popularity, it offers a stable win rate, making it an underrated option.
