Last week I reached my best WE-Ranked result ever. You can check my previous week here: Weekend Ranked with Deception (Mythic 17/25)
For this week I played this deck:
For this week I changed only one card. During the little dip I bought a "Lord of Whispers". This is a card very similar to "Vault Vagabond". I'll compare these two cards for you:
3 Mana with 1/3 vs. 4 Mana with 2/4.
Both are "Hidden", both have "Flank", both will copy a card from your opponents deck if you attack your opponents god.
"Vault Vagabond" copies the top card from your opponents deck, "Lord of Whispers" copies a random card from your opponents deck.
I keept "Lord of Whispers" because the chances to copy a big boy from your opponent is a litte bit higher than with "Vault Vagabond". Also If you will protect one of them with "Orfeo's Distraction" you can protect "Lord of Whispers" once more. (And one more reason: It's cooler to have one more Legendary in my deck :D )
I don't think that this change had much impact and I could also keep playing with a 2nd "Vault Vagabond".
(A bigger impact for my deck would have one or even two "Demogorgon" but is a goal that I can't reach without a nice sponsor...)
...Important is that I could confirm my last WE-Ranked result! And this makes me happy.
Maybe 2 more wins were possible but in these 2 matches I decided wrong and my opponent had a perfect counter for my false decicion.
Both times I decided (against war) not to kill his creatures. In one match I let my opponent to get board control with "Sole Survivor"...
In the other match both Gods were at 4 lifepoints after I attacked and I knew because of his godpower I will only have one more turn. So I summoned 2 Frontline-Creatures and let his only creature buffed with "Redfume Serum" alive instead of killing it. "Viking Longship" was the jackpot for my opponent....
These are my results out of my 25 matches: (I also played against someone from "[tst] clan" and a double of [8M]Sambam. He renamed himself just a few minutes later)
War 7 Win / 6 Loss = 52% of all Matches
Magic 4/0 = 16%
Death 3/0 = 12%
Nature 2/1 = 12%
Light 1/0 = 4%
Deception 0/1 = 4%
It seems that War is the dominant god right now. And again I had a very low amout of Matches against Nature.
But it's also a good feeling that I won every Match against Death, Magic and Light.
Now I will have a break for 2 or even 3 weeks because of holidays.
I hope that GU will not change a lot or release a new balance update in this time.
