Hey there! Today I wanna share with you my Card Draw Magic deck which I was running this WR and got 17/25 in Mythic. Also I'll share some of the games from WR in gameplay video with this deck, stay tuned.
Let's move to the deck overview.
Deck code: GU_1_4_BDWBDWGAVGAVBDrCErCErKAaKAaCFiCFiIBmGAgCANCANCEkCEkIBkIBBIBBBBgBBgCAnBFfKAmKAmCEqCEqKAqKAq
Card Draw
Since it's a Card Draw Magic the most importants things in the deck are connected with the card draw. Here you have Pallas' Wand (kinda expensive, but very important to have, you can get it on discount while it's not so popular now), Demetrios Playwright, Vortimer the Volatile, All-Seeing Spire. These cards you want to see in your starting hand (ofc. some of them).
Face Spells
Here we have bunch of spells with face damage (or you can use them to kill your opponent's creature). Ancient Texts is kinda expensive, could be changed to Surpassing Blast, but it will be less effective in most of the times, because Ancient Texts can give you protected (to one of your creatures or to the god and sometimes it just will win you the game). Unbound Flames often you will also use as a board clear card via empower effect. Get your Arcane Transcendent to lower the mana cost of expensive spells to combo with spell boost to deal maximum damage in the face. Since Unbound Flames was nerfed it's still a decent card.
Board Control
Most of these spells are just basic for most of the magic decks. You can try other AOE spells instead of Faraday Cage and Unannounced Arrival, but for now they're good. Depending on the opponent you want to get at least on of them in the starting hand to remove early creatures from the board. Against control you don't mind.
Gameplay
Mulligan Stage
- Against Aggro get your Wand or Demetrios, some of the cheap board control spells and you're gucci. Keep board clean, develop your own and make PEW-PEW to your opponent's face.
- Against Control get your card draw options, Shadow Scryer, Choralis to generate some value in the early game. And kill your opponent as fast as you can, because you don't have much to do in the late game.
