I last wrote about Gods Unchained more than 2 weeks ago. The reason for this is partly a lack of time, and partly the new deck and video recording. Today I finally had a few hours for both.
As I mentioned on New Year's Day, I want to level up a few levels this year, but for that I have to forget about the Nature deck. I want to use this Magic deck instead.
Mainly due to the prices of the cards, the above compilation is not yet complete. These 7 cards are missing (2 from the Ember Oni):
I'll replace them with these. It seems acceptable at the moment, although I'm still getting to know what their optimal use is.
I started playing daily ranked battles with this deck today. The battle below was against a Nature deck. It was a pleasure to see how easily I won. Especially, if I count in the fact: I still don't know my cards exactly, so I have to check most of them before I pick. The ones with Empower are really tricky. Time will sort it out, need more practice.
Advantages:
Obviously, efficiency. In any case, I expect from this deck that I can play at Gold levels all the time, instead of Shadow. In addition, it provides much better options in general, it can be used better and more balanced against all Gods.
Disadvantages:
I only know one at the moment. The time. Unfortunately, this is not the category of 8-10 minute battles. More like 15-20 minutes. You have to get to 9 mana level, almost always. Something for something.
Obviously I need to play with it more before I can form a real opinion on it, but for now this seems to be the best build. (Not that I have many options right now. I spent all the GODS I had in my account on these cards.🙂) Anyway, almost all the cards are Meteorites. I currently have 2 Shadow cards in this deck. Since the Meteorite versions of the missing cards are also expensive, this will probably not increase for a while.
The next goal in the game is to find the best cheap category cards that can replace missing cards in the long term or even forever.
For example, instead of Iron-tooth Goblin, Bronze Servant is perfectly fine and much cheaper. I'll probably keep Reckless Flamebreather as well.
I also mentioned that I put my unused cards on the marketplace. I was able to sell a surprising number of them in the last 2 weeks.
Compared to how much missing cards like the one below cost, it's not much, but it's still something.
So my new Midrange Magic deck that I use in this build for at least a few weeks. (I still haven't been able to figure out what makes it Midrange, not Control, which I wanted for myself earlier.)
Thanks to the cards I bought in the last 2 weeks, the total value of my cards has also increased a lot. My 81 Meteorite and Shadow cards totaled $28, which is a pretty big increase from $16 a month ago. (I don't know why the 2 Gold cards price don't show up.)
I will use the next week's GODS income for forging and try to realize a part of the above Forging Profit.

Yes, the L.T. with Safeguard Incarnation together works pretty good till I reach 5-7 mana lock.
What I actually really don't like in this deck is the 2 x Crystaltech Scholar and Alastrina. I want to change those 3 cards.
I think, it will take few more weeks while I can get the Pyrrhic K. It's not cheap.
I just try cheaper cards atm for the missing very expensive few. I got 51% winrate after 40 battles, but still stuck in Shadow, so will need further improvements.
