Hey all,
That might be the longest thing I am writing on public internet in the last 5 years. Not that it will be very long, I just rarely do it. Somehow stumbled on ProfessorF's ad of this competition in discord and decided to check it out.
I started tinkering with crypto in the beginning of the year, a friend of mine is really into NFT-s and knowing I like games he suggested I check them out. I've played some Magic (Arena) earlier as well as tried Hearthstone (which I didn't really like much) so I felt quite at home right away. I can't say I really bought in to the whole play-to-earn hype - it seemed I could earn a few bucks every weekend but nothing to write home about. The GODS/IMX airdrop made me more of a believer though :).
In game I think I'm doing best with my nature regen deck (lots of wild creatures, wildfire, trial of the hydra) though I enjoy playing deception more. Order deception more specifically, a bit like Copperpitch lately vlogged about although I run almost all the order cards deception has there (including the gargoyle and demolitionist).
Once in a while I try to make my death deck(s) work, but it's usually quite painful. I blame not having Apocalypse :)
Just now I actually made my zombie deck work once for a change:
I usually hover around rank 9-10, ocasionally dipping into 8 or reaching 11
IRL I've been working in software development for 15+ years, just quit my last job recently and enjoying a rest of now at least. Besides spending a lot of time behind the computer I enjoy kitesurfing (at least when the sea isn't iced over, which it is now...).
PS name inspired by the Endymion sci-fi series, highly recommended.
Cheers.
Will try endymion, need a new scifi series.
Quit my dev job too... We need a break sometime right?! Very stressful.
Magic For me is the best one, also didn't like heartstone, and fall in love for GU
Nice to meet you
