After those crazy experiments with the Poor ZooWar deck, I got knocked back to Rank 10 for a whole week, and here’s what I have to say: Good players are everywhere.
This time, I didn’t go overboard with the grind somehow managing to squeeze in just 10 games a day. Honestly, I’m barely even trying, playing almost with one foot. And you know what? I just made it back to Rank 11.
Here’s my current dull deck, one of many you’ll find on GUdecks:
In my case, Skeletal and Cunning made the cut because they’re shiny. Redfume, on the other hand, feels more profitable than Fury, even though it costs 1 more mana. Fury often buffs just 2 creatures, while a single Redfume buff gives +1 more damage to an extra creature. That creature could be Skeletal, which takes no damage thanks to armor; a hidden Feral; or Cunning with a ward. Overall, I like the mix of these two buffs better.
That said, I’ve seen ZooWar decks where they don’t play a single buff. Absolute madness, if you ask me. How do they even win?
Here’s a unique ZooWar deck I ran into recently:
But I haven’t had the chance to try it out yet 😃 and probably won’t anytime soon.
GLHF!🍀

Just a little heads up on upvotes: this community is sponsored by a curation group called OCD https://discord.gg/b2UQVzhf
They are responsible for distributing the upvotes that generate most of the rewards posts here get, as you can see by inspecting the reward details. However, they have a few rules about frequency, exclusivity, quality, originality and relevance of the posts, for example.
Agrante, thank you so much for these clarifications! Honestly, I won’t be upset if this post earns $0 what’s more important is that I managed to publish it this week 😀
I read somewhere that I can delegate my voting power to these orgs. I’m not very active here, and it seems like dedicated communities could make better use of it. Could you explain how to do this and whether it makes sense with an account valued at 100 HP?
Yes, you can delegate to OCD and they will send you Hive in return. That's probably not a bad idea. All you have to do is go to your wallet and delegate HP to @ocdb for example. There are other curation groups that also accept delegations and return rewards - Ecency, Curie, Qurator... I delegate some HP to OCD, you can check it in my wallet details (in my profile).
Another thing you can do is follow a curation trail. But with 100 HP this doesn't make sense imo. Before the pump, when Hive was less than $0.20, I calculated just under 1500 HP for a 100% vote to be worth 1 cent. That 1 cent would then be split in 2 when you upvote, half going back to you and the other half to the author.
When you do get a bit more HP, then it would make sense to follow a curation trail. Following a curation trail means that you maximize the yield from your HP via automatic votes, because then your voting mana should always stay under 100%. For this, check https://hive.vote/ . You can start following a curation trail anytime, but your rewards will be dismal, if anything at all - I'm not sure if there are minimums to receive rewards from upvotes.
