Mom’s budget meal: ulog#16

in Ulogs4 years ago (edited)

Home duties of being a mother are laundry, cleaning, cooking, budgeting, speaking of budgeting,
We still have a chicken liver and gizzard adobo leftover from last night and I was thinking of vegetables to pair with for our meal today, like stir fry vegetables.
I went out and checked the talipapa near us there I bought 1 pack of mixed vegetables for 15 pesos, 1 sachet of oyster sauce for 10 pesos. The garlic, onion, oil, cornstarch, and the rest of the ingredients, I need not buy which I had already in the kitchen.

This is how I prepared the cooking

In a small bowl, combine the oyster sauce, 2 tablespoon of water, and 1/2 tablespoon of cornstarch mix well set aside.

In a pan, pour 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil, add the onion and garlic, saute for 1 minute

then add the vegetables, continue stirring until half cooked.

Add 1 cube of chicken broth, pour the oyster and cornstarch mixture,

season with salt and pepper and it's done. Turn off the fire.

These were I served for my daughter’s lunch today, dry-fried spicy chicken liver adobo paired with stir fry vegetables.

This is my way of managing the expenses that would not exceed the budget planned for the entire month. Hope you get any idea in budgeting.
