With the hive stands in place, the sugar water feeders ready, built the work table and the hives are in place. Now I must wait for my packages of bees.
The table is attached to a 4x4 post that I set in concrete. Carrying down buckets if concrete was probably the hardest part of this setup. But it's all done and I am glad.
Added a special touch to the hives and table.. with the naming of my favorite social blockchain it was quite fitting to add them to my bee equipment.
The table will help me with holding tools or my camera while I work. Its two feet wide and eight feet long.
Using my stencil I painted my planters with. I put it between the two boards that made the tables surface.
I dont think the bees will mind the logos. Since its red they should not even be able to see it... lol
There was a little overspray but some mud took it off. I think the grit in it helps to remove the spray that got where I didnt want it.
With the sun setting I wrapped up as the light faded behind the ridgeline. Should be another month or less before I get my two packages of bees.. cant wait :)
that great sir #Hive will sure attract hive for sure , great work sir as always ❤️😁🙏
Hehe thanks, I think they will go together quite well. Planning on blogging about my honey bees on Hive for sure.
That looks amazing!
I hope you will get lots of honey now that you are going to try them as well!
Thank you, they did come out well. I am quite happy with them.
Yeah me too, stay tuned during the summer and autumn to see if I harvest any.
I love the #hive logo such a solid touch man.
Thanks dude, couldnt think of a better fit. Also helps me mark my hives if they ever got stolen so I can prove they are mine.
Good point I didn't even think of that haha
Thats really cool, congratulations on this cool project
thanks alot.. its been a long time in the making but finally its ready for the bees.
Very cool idea with your copyright permission I would like to do mine in the spring. That I will be a little cold now ..
Greetings!
Hah thanks, well its not my logo.. just the community logo I got off the internet.
Yeah you need warm temps for the spraypaint to work well, make sure you protect the hive from overspray or it tends to get all over the place.
