What’s your definition of a beautiful heart? What will someone do to you for you to attest that they have a beautiful heart.
Well, I’ve seen and encountered so many people and amongst them I’ve seen one with a beautiful heart. She’s someone that inspires me so much because of the kind of heart she has.
These kind of persons are very rare and they must be cherished whenever we come in contact with such people.
Well, am not type to always seek for relationships maybe because am the introverted type even though I feel I am extroverted. So it’s like am very free with the people I know and can warm up to people easily somehow but for people am
not used to, am introverted.
On this beautiful day an Angel came to me in the person of a girl. She’s not so beautiful on the outward, but she has the most beautiful soul and heart I’ve seen in a very long while.
She said I’ve been observing you for a long while and I want to be close to you. Well, I don’t have friends hence having someone around won’t be a bad idea.
A little background about this beautiful heart is that she came from a broken home. Grew up without the love of a mother, had step mothers who didn’t even give her a smidgen of care yet she’s so full of love.
I’ve being around her so many times and I’ve seen people abused her kindheartedness. I don’t know why it’s like that but I’ve noticed that when people know that you are a good person, they tend to take advantage of you a lot.
I’ve seen her being a victim of this over and over and you would think that for the barest instance that she would change into a monster but yet her ever pure heart remain.
There was an occasion where a senior colleague of ours mistreated her badly and punished her for something she didn’t do. The punishment was so severe that when our boss heard it, he was so mad at the senior colleague for mistreating a junior colleague the way he did and he punished the senior colleague. This only led to more antagonism for her.
When the senior colleague was finally dismissed after several count charges against her. My friend was talking to our boss and when he heard her own side of all the stories, he made a very profound statement to her “You have a beautiful heart, don’t let anything take it away from you.”
It’s been about nine years from all these incidents and over the years I still keep seeing her maintain that pure heart.
She’s so good that having her in your life is already a blessing. I don’t know how she manages to be like that and gush out so much love and care. She would tell me “You are so beautiful, if I were a man, I would have married you since.”
I would always laugh when she says that to me. But I’ve seen her care for me like no other. She checks up on me and always prays for me. She’s my confidant and I would always cry to her when I need a shoulder to cry on.
Everyday am grateful to God for bringing such an example of what it means to have a beautiful heart my way and modeling the love of God to me.
Many concentrate on the outward appearance and physical beauty but having that inner beauty and a beautiful heart radiates such beauty that a thousand words cannot explain.
In all your having, acquire a good heart and when you see people with such hearts, don’t offend them or take advantage of them. Love and cherish them, they are rare gems.
