Religion should not stop your brain from working

So recently i was watching a documentary on YouTube concerning a pastor in a church who was feeding his church members with a live snake , the members believe that obeying him and doing what he asked them do will make them get delivered from any problems they are facing most especially spiritual problems..

Well after reading about the story and also watching the documentary about it , I have come to realize that there are alot of people who have allowed religion to take away their common sense , these people have allowed themselves to be so brainwashed till the extent that they are ready to do anything no matter how foolish it sounds , as long as it is their pastors who asked them to do it , then they are ready to go...

Hey!!!! I do not have problem with your religion or whatever religion you are practicing , I have friends who practice various religions and we are still great friends, I did not stop becoming their friend because of religion or whatsoever....

But what I am saying is that we should begin to separate "religion" from " common sense "...Because you are religious , it does not mean you should stop using your brain to think , your brain is not created just for decoration.. It was created for your own good , for you to make use of it..

Because you want to practice religion , that do not mean you should not common sense , that do not mean you should be easily fooled and manipulated by anyone hiding under religion to perpetrate some certain evil or some certain clueless agenda..

I feel irritated when I see some people who have become so gullible and hide under religion to keep promoting their stupidity...you can be religious and still be sensible , you should know what is right or what is wrong, religion do not need to teach you how to make use of brain before you have to make use of it...

Be wise and guarded, some acting clueless all in the name of religion , if you keep doing that , then some certain people will take advantage of it and use " religion" to manipulate just like some church pastors and some Islamic leader do.....
