Today's post will focus on the benefits of staking Cent tokens on the Hive-Engine Side-chain platform. It's obvious that the Cent token is one of the strongest tokens in HE alongside $Leo, $Pob and $CTP.

What is Cent Staking or Powerup?
Cent token is a Hive layer 2 token on the Hive-Engine Side-chain platform that is pegged at $0.01 Hive token, although it has lost it's peg but has the ability to get back to peg after the bear season.

Cent staking or Powerup simply means to lock your Cent tokens on Hive-Engine in order to increase your Curation. Truth be told, everyone on the hive blockchain wants to be recognized and given some levels of priority in the community, so it is on the Cent community.

Three (3) benefits of staking Cent tokens on Hive-Engine

  • chances of having bigger upvotes. The hive blockchain is ruled by proof of stake (POS) and anyone that has big stake has the chances of receiving relevance in terms of upvotes. This is because their stakes helps the community to stand strong.
  • bigger Curation rewards. This is factual because if the purpose of staking a token is for curation purpose then as you increase your stake the bigger your curation rewards.
  • you have the chances of delegating you Cent tokens. Most people don't have the time and energy to curate contents on a daily basis in order to earn curation rewards, so they can delegate their stake to other Curation trail and earn rewards from that.
