When you hear someone who explains bitterly about revenge just know that he/she lacks the ability fo forgive.
Forgiveness set ones heart free from pains, fear, trouble, hatred, hurt and even revenge so to forgive doesn't show your weakness rather it shows strength.
To forgive means letting go the pains, fear, hurt, hatred and releasing your self from bondage thus gives you peace, joy and happiness.
Revenge on the other hand, means hatred and the tendency to hurt another who offended you without mercy. Revenge brings pains, more sadness and lack of peace.
If you have seen a bitter unforgiving someone before who is out to revenge (do back) you will see the wrath in his eyes, heart, body and soul and this will hinder the persons progress.
We are living in a world were people will in one way or the other hurt everything in you to bring out that demon in you but when that time comes, tell yourself this bitter truth:"i refuse to be sad"
Set yourself free from the spirit of unforgiveness and learn to forgive easily, be releasing forgiveness to who so ever come close to you because they will definitely hurt you.
Personally, i don't forgive easily but the more i stop releasing forgiveness to my offenders the more aggressive i will become in life and the people around me will tend to suffer from it, even my children so i stopped it and i learn to forgive in advance so i don't do things i will regret all my life.
So i am saying learn to forgive even when the offenders have not come to you yet, learn just learn so that on their arrival they will meet you forgiving and revenge will not have a cause to live in you.
Any one who feels revenge is the way out always end up consumed too, learn to forgive, makes it your habit and you will not regret it.
I know the hurt is still very fresh in your heart, but sis/bro, let it go.release them and set them free, let go the revenge burning inside you so you don't get consumed and be miserable all ypur life, let go and forgive.
