My Thoughts on the Movie "Vacation" (2015)

in Cent10 months ago

Hi guys, it's me again so that means I'm about to share another awesome movie with you.

I just watched this movie named “Vacation” in 2015 and let me tell you, it really threw me back

This is all about the Griswold family going for a big trip to the Walley World.

The dad who is called Rusty wants to recreate the exact same journey he took as a boy with his own family.

So, Rusty, together with his wife and two sons get into the car and they start moving across America. They are all looking forward to a great time as a family but things do not turn out exactly as expected. Instead, one adventure follows another.

I enjoyed watching this movie because it reminded me of some of my own experiences on road trips with my family.

Like the Griswolds, we have had our fair share of misfortune and adventures on the way. But you know what? Very often these are the moments that are etched in your memory forever and that eventually make for some awesome stories later on.

How relatable “Vacation” is was what I loved the most about it.

Okay, maybe the Griswold’s situation might be a little bit overblown, but essentially this film captures the pandemonium and funniness that are usually associated with family holidays.

This film will have some humor in it for every person who has gone on a road trip; from losing their way to handling car issues.

The characters are another standout in this movie. Rusty (played by Ed Helms) only wants to make his family’s vacation memorable even if they do not always run smoothly.

His wife (played by Christina Applegate) is understanding as well as exasperated at times herself.

Chevy Chase comes back as Rusty’s dad from the original movies of “Vacation”. His appearance brings in a sense of nostalgia for those who loved the old films.

Clearly, “Vacation” is not short on hilarity that every road trip film needs. This movie has a lot of intriguing features such as a misfortunate trip to hot spring; a crazy ride along the river and many other things.

To be honest, I enjoyed watching “Vacation” too much. It is an amusing, light-hearted film that reminds you of being okay with messiness and unpredictability in family vacations.

If you’re looking for comedy and some parts that resemble your own experiences, this is definitely worth checking out.

Maybe it will inspire you to go on an adventure with your family!
