Greetings to my esteemed friends on the Cent platform and the entire Hive blockchain. It's another Sunday Delight and today I'll be discussing about three things that benefits Christians who attend church services.
Sunday to some Christian is a day for worship and is sometimes the only time they engage God to get the right words that'll sustain them throughout the entire week. Attending the wrong church service can deprive such a person the benefits of going to church on that faithful Sunday and might poss fear in their hearts for the next week Sunday service.
Different people with different intentions why they attend Sunday service. Below are the three major reasons why people genuinely attend Sunday service:
- Worship Experience: Worship is communion between a person and his maker. There are songs that are soul lifting and they could take you into the presence of God and refresh your life for the week ahead and beyond. Once the music minister's aren't giving the right vibes or songs, the day of these Christians are already ruined.
Sound Word of God: the reason why I included Sound in my subtitle is because many false doctrines has enter our pulpits. Sound doctrines that are scripturally based lifts the spirits of believers. During this period I'm church services, God speaks to us from his word and it helps us stay in tune with Him. For me, it's the most important time in any service and not staying on the scriptures disrupts my service completely.
Fellowship: the Holy scriptures says do not forsake the assembly of brethren. Fellowship is very important for me as a believer. This is because iron sharpens iron, although many had taken advantage of others during this sharpening process. Fellowshipping with one another goes beyond attending services but it includes sharing to the poor and needy amongst believers.
