Good morning to you all, and welcome to my blog.
I believe you had a great night's rest, and so was I.
I want to share my view with you on what I title the power of silent prayer.
It should be noted that silent prayers carry so much impact.
What is power?
According to Merriam-Webster's Dictionary, the word power is seen as the ability to act or produce an effect.
It's a very nice definition.
Prayer, on the other hand, refers to the act of communicating with our maker, who is God.
One of the profound advantages of prayer is its quiet power.
You don’t always need to shout or raise your voice to move Heaven; sometimes, even a whisper can shake the heavens.
Silent prayers murmured under your breath, can release divine intervention and shift spiritual atmospheres. It’s a supernatural mystery. God hears not only the words of our lips but the whispers of our hearts.
There are times when circumstances require us to pray silently, and yet, our prayers are no less powerful. Just like Hannah, who poured out her heart in silence and received a mighty answer, so too can we release life-changing prayers even in a hushed tone.
There was a time when I passed by a certain compound, and I heard one woman praying. The method she used was annoying.
As Christians, we must know what we do, why we do it, and the benefits of what we're doing.
One thing I discovered while she was praying was that she opened her window and she faced the window to pray.
I don't have a problem with her facing the window, but the only problem I had with her was the fact that she was shouting while praying.
Up to the point that some of her tenants had to knock on her door to tell her that she was disturbing the peace of that environment.
The response she gave to those people was out of the blue. She told them that her prayer should not be a problem to them because she didn't see any bad thing in what she was doing.
Her parents were very annoyed with her, but She still refused to stop. It is mandatory that while you're praying in a place where other people are living, you must make sure you control your voice no matter how spiritual you are.
Is not until you shout before God hears your prayers. Praying in silence is the best way. It could be more effective than you could ever imagine.
Some so many people prayed in silence in the bible, and God still hears their prayers. Example: Hannah and Hezekiah.
In conclusion, Heaven is listening, whether we roar or whisper because it's the fervency of faith and the purity of heart that brings our word to life
Don't underestimate the power of silence intercession. When you pray, God's presence fills even the silent spaces.
At every moment, under your breath, you have access to God's throne room.
Thank you for your time, and remain blessed.
I hope to see you next time in my blog.
