Another newbie in the house!!
My name is Solomon but I prefer katana, an artist by heart and spirit. I'm a Nigerian from a humble background, my parents and my siblings all together; we're 6 in number, two girls and two boys. My family is very supportive and encouraging. Which I honestly appreciate about them. I encountered this platform through a good friend, I found out that hive had the right amount of pressure to get my artworks kicking, it's really sad that most Nigerian artist have had to kill their dreams out of lack of opportunities and platforms like this, I can acknowledge the fact that I'm more privilege to have encountered this platform.
My passion for art started when I was still in highschool or secondary school. And now I'm out of highschool, the next goal is to make it to college or university.
In a family of four kids, I'm the third child and the second son. In my family we all have our different talents. We all love art, but my passion is focused on music though I haven't released a hit song yet, I love to train my voice the best way I can. I love to fix things, I love anime a great deal, so most of my characters would be animated. I love to draw, I love to cook, yeah I'm the chef back at home, I won't say I know all the cooking methods but by God's grace I have a Mom who was patient enough to teach me the things I know.
My biggest goal is to make it into the animes work, I'd like to be a voiceover actor, I think my love for anime started when I was 10 years of age, I was introduced to anime and it took a turn in my life after that, I have always been an ambitious person, so my dream is to make it to Japan where opportunity are opened to a youngster like myself. When I listen to my peers talk about the big picture, I often wonder if they think life is all about getting married at 30 with an office job, working for the government all the days of your life. For myself, I want something different, I want to explore the world as much as I can, I want to travel and most of the places I want to go are mostly when you find asians.
My greatest fear is making it big and not being there to enjoy the fruit of my labor, some people would say failure, but I'm not scared to fail, life would never give you everything platter of gold, in life you can't have it all, especially when you're starting from scratch; you need to fail one million times to succeed. But my fear is after succeeding, after making it big in life and maybe God says you have reached your limits and you die afterwards; my question then is what's the use of all the struggle and hard work if you're only going to lose your life.
What I found most interesting on Hive Blockchain
Hive Blockchain is the most decentralized platform, even in terms of funds, they are transparent and reliable, you know your funds, tokens are saved because of the high standards of security provided in the wallet, Hive is a thriving and mature ecosystem filled with unique people. The platform provides the necessary tools to make funds and learn, it's also a platform to explore your chances of skills because of the communities.
One thing I found most interesting on Hive is the equal opportunity for everyone who ventures into hive, everyone is important and every good content is relevant.
Interaction and socialization bring about different people from different countries. The platform is like a big family trying to help one and other to succeed.
