Hello,
I am feeling very happy this afternoon because of all the amazing things that God is doing in our lives.
There is nothing too hard for the Lord to do. When you commit your ways to God, He will direct your path straight.
I want to share some great news about my cousin. She attended a polytechnic to study science lab as a science student for 3 or 4 years. She completed all the requirements and then applied for NYSC, and she was successful. So this year, we will have two 'corpers' in the family. My cousin has already left, and now I am looking forward to joining her in that same spirit.
I am very happy and excited to see graduates in my family. I remember the story of my Dad's family. During my dad's time, he and his siblings did not attend primary or secondary school like every other child. They were not interested in formal education but were skilled in business and other trades.
I remember in my childhood how they tried to persuade my uncle, who is my dad's brother, to go to boarding school. He ran into the bush to avoid it, and then later in the evening, he came out and started hustling and learning the skill of barbering. My dad learned carpentry, and my aunt started her own restaurant business, building it up to support her family. They were good at what they did, but schooling was a big problem for them. I don't know what caused it.
I still wonder about it, even though I have grown up. School fees were not the problem, nor were sponsors. They had sponsors who were eager to support their education, but they still did not pursue it.
Today, my daddy is doing his business to send me to school from nursery to university level. I'm done with school and I'm about to leave for service. He had started clearly to us that he was ready to sponsor me and all my siblings to school; he wasn't good in education. True, he has supported us and my cousins.
My dad's sponsors are still alive today, which were his uncle's. These men have heard us and my cousins, and they have refused to help us because of the experience they had through my dad and his siblings. Today, we have proven to them that what my Dad and siblings did to them cannot repeat itself in this modern age.
In this generation, we need to be civilized in education, politics, skills, and leadership; I have seen the eagerness of my siblings and cousins to go the extra mile in the education sector. Today, we have graduates in the family. Two graduating from tertiary institutions. Soon, we have academic doctors, teachers, medical doctors, governors, presidents, and more in our generation.
I'm so happy that there is a paradigm shift in my family era. Big changes are occurring. Where our parents didn't reach, we will reach. Children in my family now are dreaming big, crystalizing their goals, and working towards them.
It's God who makes things they were it is now. God is good. When you have Him you can conquer and win every battle of life.
Thank you for reading through my content. I hope you have learned specific things that would help you and your children.
I love, I care, and I forgive
