School uniforms promote discipline and responsibility

Splendid morning to the beautiful people in this community. I'm so excited to be counted as one of the people who is alive today, and I have every reason to tell the lord thank you. God is God and he will remain God.

To begin with, I wouldn't advise the school authorities to stop students from wearing their school uniform in a society like this today. We are in a society where fashion is trending, and a lot of people, including students, are into it, especially those who are from a wealthy background. So banning school uniforms will cause a whole lot of distraction and comparison among the students. Some students would be looking down on others for not wearing costly or trending clothes in the world. You know students' lives, they will start fighting and causing havoc in school with unreasonable facts about clothing. So, banning school uniforms will cause more harm than good; instead, school uniforms should be prioritized in many nursery levels to secondary levels.

Furthermore, other countries permit students to wear their muftis to school every day because that's their culture, and they tend to understand people better than we, the Africans. You would see students in other countries leading other students in academics, dressing alongside others for great achievements in every aspect of their lives, but in my place, you would see an inferiority complex and comparison.

School uniforms promote discipline and responsibility in schools and help students to take responsibility and focus on their studies. Students showing commitment to studying hard for good grades would be better than fashion, thinking of new outfits to brainstorm for the following day in school whereas that time they would have used to memorize what was taught in the classroom or do their assignment over fashion. School uniforms are important to the students and school authorities.

School uniforms create a sense of identity and belonging in the society or community where many schools are established. By school uniforms, you would be able to identify which one is which school and it gives schools this sense of belonging, maintaining unity among schools in Nigeria.

School uniforms create a sense of equality among the students. Equality in the sense that it will reduce peer group pressure and societal pressure based on fashion outfits.

So many students in school are not pursuing academics as they are supposed to be; their mindsets are pursuing something else outside of studies. A minority of students are studios, knowing fully well that studying, might not work out the way it should in their academic performance. So banning school uniforms is a problem.

I remember in my school days, some of my classmates would leave their houses with extra outfits inside their school bags. When school was over, they would change up to party wear or an outfit for their boyfriend's house, which is still happening today even with school uniforms.

Overall, school uniforms shouldn't be banned in many schools let muftis be for the university students who have grown up to maturity.

I love, I care, and I forgive
