When Mercy and Grace Speaks

in Cent19 hours ago

Hell everyone,
Welcome to my blog.

I lay down contemplating on what to write on, lo and behold, I got inspired by this amazing scripture, though I have been reading it, but today i got a different insight from this scripture, and I pray that as we meditate on it as well, it will be a blessing to you as well.

The scriptures say "we are saved by Grace, and not by work, lest any man should boost........." I realized that boastfulness is in the nature of man, on a normal day, achieving something great often comes with this boastful attitude, most times we don't know we are, but others might notice it.

We are saved by Grace, and not by our works, if we were to be saved by merit or good works, none of us would have deserved it, but Grace and Mercy found us worthy through the blood of the lamb, where we have redemption and freedoms from sin and death.

Thus, Grace is seen as the unmerited favour of God upon every mankind, it's not restricted to a certain set of persons, though most times we become oppressed by mere things that we have power to dominate and rule over, this, dominating these things is accepting and accessing the working of His Grace in our lives. Though I see Grace as being: "God in me, God through me, and God for me".

Hebrews 5:2 KJV: Who can have compassion on the ignorant, and on them that are out of the way; for that he himself also is compassed with infirmity
.

Hence, inspite of our ignorance, we still have a father who is still compassionate about our infirmities by showing us Mercy daily. Most times when faced with so much pains, hurts, temptations, betrayal e.t.c, we tend to ask questions, and demand answers from him. Mercy is that platform, which allows favor to flow towards us.
In my case, when such thought comes to my mind, I received answers through his word here:

Hebrews 4:15 KJV: For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.

Seeing Jesus as the high priest who understands our pains, troubles, temptations e.t.c we are faced with gives us a hope that since He overcomes the world, we can also overcome whatever it might be, because he fills and understands everything because he was in like manner tempted in several ways, yet He didn't sin, rather remained focused, we can as well conquer every sin and difficulties.

But the hope he gave us is in the next verse;

Hebrews 4:16 KJV: Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

Now this happens to be the solution and answers to those questions in our heart, which is "Approaching the Throne of Grace with Boldness to obtain Mercy".

I see Grace as a voice that speaks, and when it speaks mercy is obtained, bringing freedom to the bound, justification to the condemned, peace to the troubled soul e.t.c, because God's Grace comes with compassion (Mercy).

And this throne we are to approach it with boldness having the knowledge of our redemptive power in Christ. It is also the right place we ought to approach in times of need to receive answers to all our desires.

Whatever be the challenges, just approach the Throne Of Grace with boldness, and there you'll obtain Mercy, and your needs will be granted, but your name must be included in the Mercy list of the Father.

Thank you for reading ♥️
