Hey guys, a warm morning greeting to everyone.
Now the month is left with just two (2) days to go which we will all find ourselves in the month of December its interesting isn't it?
Well at the same time some people have been calling me to tell me how the weather is currently affecting them but at first I was thinking it's a joke because I wasn't in their shoes or rather feeling what they were feeling.
We know on the normal setting harmattan is supposed to start middle December but this year chooses to be different, it is not a joking matter.
You could barely see afar
I didn't want to talk about it but it's now at my neck so much that last night I could barely sleep, you know when you're ill you just want to rest that's to relieve you of your pain but in a case where you try to sleep but can't, I ended up playing music on my phone to calm my body down, my nose were already blocked that I couldn't breathe well, I was just so uncomfortable, that was I remembered a post I read here by @princessbusayo where she was taking about the weather condition in her area.

Then I wasn't feeling any effect of the weather maybe it wasn't really active then but as at now even as I'm typing this post, it's a combination of catarrh and cough that's giving me a dry throat, it's already affected my voice you know.
While I looked frustrated I knew my body is just reacting to the changed weather so I was sorting out for ways that I can get ride of it until I found out myself the things we should do during harmattan seasons.
DRESS WARMLY; you know during the morning, evening and night the weather can be very cool so dressing warmly during this period of time will help your body stay warm. I mean just this morning when I was passing by an hotel so I noticed an AC was on and making some little noise, I was surprised that some people still uses AC even with the condition of the weather.
USE MOISTURIZER; very soon when the weather gets worst you will start seeing people lips and skins gets so dry, the lips will start peeling and they will be feeling the pain.
So instead of going through all of this it better you use lip glosses and then good pomade creams, someone like me that don't like rubbing cream I have started using creams oo because someone gats not see you outside because you're gonna look so dusty.
HOT COFFEE TEA ALSO HELPS; yeah hot coffee helps keeps your body warm, and also clears your throat, if your voice was already bad as mine, take hot water with tom Tom it will do a lot. Also try as much as you can to avoid cold foods and drinks if you need to drink something cool don't consume much of it.
ENGAGE IN PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES; engaging in physical activities mentain
your body heat and general health. Stay hydrated, you know this season is when things becomes dried up because of heat and lack of water so even our bodies needs enough water to carry us through.
