Batman died, and a powder keg set Gotham City on fire without the Dark Knight to protect him. Following Bruce Wayne's murder, his adopted son Turner Hayes is accused of killing the Caped Crusader, along with the children of some of Batman's enemies: Duela Doe, aka The Joker's Daughter, Harper Row, a fierce and wisecracking engineer, and she. brother Cullen Row, an intelligent transgender teenager.
With the charismatic and daring DA Harvey Dent and the GCPD on their trail, Turner will rely on allies, including his best friend and formidable coder Stephanie Brown and Batman's unlikely friend Carrie Kelley. But our knights will soon learn that a greater and more nefarious force is at work in Gotham City. This team of misfit fugitives must band together to become the next generation of saviors known as the Gotham Knights.
