The women's 100mH final in the ongoing World Athletics Championships was hosted and World Record holder Tobi Amusan finished at the sixth position in 12.62s.. Though it is believed that Tobi Amusan gave it all she had in the women’s 100m Hurdles final at the #WorldAthleticsChampionships but could not maintain the lead. The women's 100mH final race was won by 2015 Champion Danielle Williams in 12.43s.
Below is the time it took the participants to finish the women's 100mH race:
- Danielle Williams - SB (JM) - 12.43s
- Jasmine Camacho-Quinn (PR) - 12.44s
- Keni Harrison (US) - 12.46s
- Devynne Charlton (BS) - 12.52s
- Ackera Nugent (JM) - 12.61s
- Tobi Amusan (NG) - 12.62s
- Ditaji Kambundji (CH) - 12.70s
- Nia Al (US) - 12.78s
Many are insinuating that Tobi Amusan could not perform well in the race because of the s=psychological effects of having to prove non guilty to doping days to the competition.
What are your thoughts? Was Tobi Amusan at her best or do you think she was psychologically drained ahead of the competition that it could affect her performance?
