Hello, Hivers!
It's time for another model kit review!
This is a review of a 1/72 scale model airplane kit made by the company Monogram. This is a kit for the German Dornier DO 17 Z, known as the "flying pencil".
The DO 17 was originally designed in 1934 as a high speed mail plane. In 1937, the plane was modified for the German Luftwaffe as a bomber. The bomber first saw service in the Spanish civil war in 1938, where it was found to not have enough defensive guns. The DO 17 Z was more heavily armed and saw service early in WW2 in the Low Countries, Poland, and France.
This model was bought on the "pre-owned" market on ebay by a friend who lends me the models to make these reviews. This particular kit is a vintage kit, probably 50 or so years old now, but still a good quality kit.
I've had this video on my youtube channel for more than a year now, I uploaded it in September of 2023. I never got around to posting here on hive until now. I'm still catching up on my model kit reviews here.
Here;s the video, it's about 11 minutes long.
Thanks for stopping by my page to check out my post!
I hope you found the video to be interesting!
