I'm currently playing Hades, a little bit of Pinball FX3 and just recently purchased Age of Wonders 4 which looks really exciting and fun if you're into those kind of games.
As for #web3 games, I'm currently enjoying @terracore but looking forward to also see how @wrestorgonline is played when it's released. I also wish I could lease out some of my @dcrops nft's to other players though, or that it was easier to plant everything quicker. :P I also need to get back to some Gods Unchained soon but have been having a hard time getting back into it the few times I did try.
All in all I'm really looking forward to more games getting started on Hive and enjoy them both as a player and maybe as an investor, even though there's tons of risks involved and you shouldn't really look at it from that perspective when it comes to #web3 games, imo.
I like how I'm leaning away from web2 more and more lately, though, and hope games will become just as fun on Hive soon along with the advantages item ownership and immutability gives us.
Anyway, just thought I'd check what's up and give this community another bump.
Question is in the title!
Forfeiting part of the post rewards through beneficiaries.
I've been playing a lot of Diablo 3 lately. They added a sort of skill tree in the latest season and it has kind of reworked the game a bit. I'm still not sure if I am going to bother buying Diablo 4 right away. I was really disappointed with the D2 re-release. I'd love to get back into WoW again, but I don't think my marriage would handle it! I was also thinking about firing up my cracked version of Civ III the other day, but I never got around to it. As far as Web 3.0... Still playing Splinterlands (I really dig brawls), Alien Worlds, Dark Country, Realms, Rising Star, and I just recently started playing that Golem game.
wow, I was very addicted to the first diablo game. this new version only sees some gameplay videos. looks awesome
It does look like an improvement graphics-wise, but I have heard some grumblings about it during the beta. I am sure they will have those things fixed before the official launch. $70 just seems like a lot of money to me.
compared on the prices i used to pay in my PS3 games... it's for sure a lot
now a days I only like the games that pays me to play
lol
I hear you there!
You should check out the hardcore WoW challenge some have started. xD
Will do!
splinterlands
divinity original sin 1
Prince of Persia: sands of time
In the future I plan to replay The Witcher and Mafia games.
Damn, prince of persia, been a while I heard that one. :D
Been playing @splinterlands every so often, @dcrops and @stoken.quest! About @stoken.quest I suggest everyone to give it a go, we updated a shitload of things (controls, graphics, levels, messages), play2earn more is LIVE and same for Hive account log in.
Check out on dcrops discord, someone made a 3rd party tool to help plant quicker for big players.
ooh that's good to know, will have to check it out, thanks!
I like FPS's and roguelikes. But I mostly play what people buy me for my birthdays now (no time). As for web3. I don't think I've found anything that got close to some of the least successful non-web3 games level in web3 space yet. Maybe Splinterlands was the closest.
Tetris, the best game of all time.
Reminds me of the last time I played Techmino on my phone as well...I'm still annoyed that I tried it once with a gamepad but even then, Master mode (ripped from TGM) still seems to have issues with the initial rotation system. When you can't use the thing added in the original game to spin pieces before they come out due to the sheer speed of the game and dropping pieces...it surely makes it far more annoying (and janky if you are used to TGM) to play. It was sure a nice thing outside of that though.
If I'm honest, I hate this new modern Tetris, to play well and be fast you need to know how to rotate the pieces to both sides when all my life I used to rotate them several times to the same side to get the position I wanted. I tried to learn this new way of playing and without a doubt I play worse than before and much slower than at the beginning. I hate Finesse with all my heart.
I know that Finesse exists, but I never really cared about its existence. As with many other types of games, I simply learned what I know from muscling through many attempts (Tetris DS was my first jam for this, but then I got caught on by Tetris The Grand Master games which had me practice way more in how to stack fast, and then often put that to test with Tetris Friends then TETR.IO)...and often don't bother with labbing more techniques.
While I'm aware about my flaws that lie within exactly not working on more tech (not just Finesse, but also T-Spin combos and 4-wide and whatever), I can say that at least I managed to enjoy my time with this game on sheer muscle memory of "spin and drop" along with my brain just following on whatever pieces come on to stack them...and hoping that my hands can catch up with the lockspeed (TGM) or the other player (online), since Tetris DS technically let you spin the piece infinitely for infinite time lol
That's a coincidence.
I just shared a post several days ago about what games I'm playing.
Currently, I'm playing Splinterlands, Terracore and Golem Overlord. This combo is enough for me.
I don't have enough time to play others :(
I mostly play mobile games (Clash Of Clan, Among Us, Clash Royal, Angry Birds some others). If I have time, I play Valorent, PUBG PC, and Minecraft on the weekend. I couldn't get much time to play PC games.
I also play Splinterlands game regularly.
You absolute mad lad! When are you going to take responsibility!? You're the one who got me into GU and no more GU streams! I check for GU, no GU! Gimme all ur cards Acid!!! Or at least, just the Amazons? 👀 pls?
Not playing as much these days, need something new. But whenever I get the time, it's still mostly WEB2 competitive scene, hanging around in Warzone and Apex Legends.
For some proper gaming and chill, I still have RDR2 installed. I'm taking it really slow with this one, exploring and doing every side mission there is.
I miss cs:go but current hardware and location make it hard to take it serious/competitive.
Oh, I agree with you on that one. Hardware is a big key player in the competitive scene, many deny it, but it's straight up facts. My gameplay and stats skyrocketed when I got my new PC, it's evident at this point.
That is why many players prefer Valorant, because it doesn't require much "juice" and power to run, but I just don't like Valorant for some reason. 😂
I'm enjoying Terracore and OG!
outside hive, I play Jobtribes and waiting for Lost Archieve+ , both from playmining
in Hive, same as you, waiting for WOO, and I still have two more: ASTRA and Crypto Company CEO.
Right now I'm struggling a lot to find some time to play games, but I'm trying to dedicate some minutes daily to Splinterlands (mostly for brawls) and I'm looking to come back playing Gods Unchained: I stopped playing it almost one year ago, but I would love to comd back and build a new deck (my zombies army isn't anymore viable sadly). However I really need them pushing out the mobile app, as that will greatly improve my chances to play GU!
could you take a look at psyberx? looks nice, but I didnt played yet the new release.
now I'm playing more mobile womplay games, like universe chess and War alliance
I've been meaning to!
I haven't been playing much lately but I think I'm going to start playing @muterra. I'm very interested in the game and I won an Echo from your raffle today XD
lol
I’ve been playing Fortnite Zero Build and Gran Turismo 7. Some Battlefield 2042 and COD MWII sprinkled in too. Was into Sackboy A Big Adventure and Immortals Fenyx Rising for a bit, but kinda stopped playing both of those although I was close to finishing them.
A lot of my time burned by don't starve together. Chaotic together with @Demotry and RIP @takuri
Project Zomboid (awesome game).
Kerbal Space Program (KSP2 soon since it's not quite ready yet).
NHL
Farming Sim 22 (lol shut up I like farming).
Dabbling in Prison Architect and Cities Skylines from time to time.
lmao, that comes as a surprise.
Imagine a Sim game based on Hive users!
Could probably take elements of Hive like HP and governance, along with several tasks to complete, based on skills and chance, and of course you can't leave out communities, and apply that to some kind of scenario involving people, perhaps on a island so there's a chance of a hostile takeover lol; but I can't picture how that would look.
My next post might be a somewhat humorous adventure to the moon using KSP screenshots. Been sitting on the idea for years.
Everytime I hear you rage quit in the other room I know you lost in Pinball.
;(
What's it like, too complicated, or you don't need to read a manual?
It's like a strategy game with turn based combat, reminds me a bit of Heroes of Might and Magic and Civilization, going to post some gameplay footage here in a bit!
I looked for it yesterday, not released on PS5 yet. I know what it is, its how difficult it is to crack was the question. These 4x ones are overly-complex.
I'm playing Darkest Dungeon occasionally.., that's a tough game.
Only chess! No time left for other games (if you consider trading cryptos and stocks not a game).
I play splinterlands, golem overload, and a few non blockchain games (not daily though 😅)
I am not into gaming...except when it comes to playground...and I know I am.losing a lot bcoz of that...yet those games are out of my mind.
I play some Europa universalies from time to time my favourite Grand strategy game
I like games like Endless Space 1, Forza Horizon and Oxygen Not Included.
currently: (when I am invited)
and world of tanks with a friend outside of hive. league of legends with @adamada, @sensiblecast and sometimes others. don't starve together with @jijisaurart and @takuri.
I would like to play Ender Lilies and parkasaurus soon.
If I get to buy a better videocard (currently rocking a rx580 in an ultrawide monitor)
I would like to play Valkyrie Elysium because I like valkyrie profile. hahaha.
I recommend Final Fantasy 15. man that game. it's a japanese salaryman's wetdream. Imagine having a road trip adventure with your friends.
play to earn only at this stage
Which one/s?
I personally have really been enjoying Golems Overlord. I was told it was built based off terracore, but it has what recently brought my back to hive. I must say the constant events and balancing keeps the game feeling a bit fresh.
Although I started the journey as a means to roi to be able to explore other hive games it has since become one of the games im enjoying and hoping to buy the dip to boost main. Im just trying to be patient as I know it is an inflationary token and I agree we shouldn't be looking at web3 gaming as an "roi" as risks are quite steep, but when a game can capture your attention and have decent updates and vision I think it's great.
Hive games I play are Risingstar, Splinterlands, Dcity, I kinda like Dcity because of the simulation almost like in the real world lol or idk, other than that League of legends :D

I've lately been playing some Super Mario Odyssey, Splatoon 2 and Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild on my Switch.
Waiting for Tears of the Kingdom 😁
I only play web3 games on Hive. Every penny spent elsewhere is a penny less spent on Hive. Sounds like a maxi-position, is a maxi-position.
I play Rising Star for 2 years now and I really enjoy it, even if I would do a few things differently.
I'm pretty excited for @wrestorgonline to roll out gameplay and for me to put all those cards and land plots to use :).
Splinterlands is on rent-mode right now, but I'm playing the new idle-game @golem.overlord for a few days now and this is right up my alley. Great story, it runs smoothly, you can loose yourself with theorycrafting. Overall a very nice addition to the gaming-roster, Hive has to offer.
And the last game is a Rising Star clone named @stardomplay but with a few tweaks and a different tokenization model.
On the web2 front, I only play retro games at the moment.
For now, obviously, 'web3' games can't even hope to compete with actual games in my life. I've been curious to give them a go but it always seems like if you didn't join up early, you missed the boat. Then it comes down to a discussion of earnings and profit, and this normally boils down to some automated card games and stat grinding.
I need story, narrative, character development! Something needs to reel me in other than the promise of $0.0003 per hour for clicking 'attack'.
So... I still browse these cause I like that they're being developed at all, but I'm just waiting for Elden Ring's DLC, FF16 in June, and the new Zelda sequel
While I have been on and off about playing anything solo because of trying to clean my computer from stuff I intended to play but never did, I think that the one game I wanted to play the most recently was Race Driver GRID, while the games I was playing while I had a friend's Xbox 360 available here were Burnout 3 and Devil May Cry 1. I'm definitely still figuring out what to fully stick with today though; a while ago I was just playing Star Fox Assault on my Wii and that might be a fun one to go through after all this time...
