We are all aware of the violent demonstrations and lootings happening across cities in the US. The demonstrations are even spreading across the globe. It took roughly 9 minutes to create the situation that has resulted in loss of lives and valuable property.
George Floyd, 46, died after former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin was caught on video kneeling on his neck until he lost consciousness and later died. Anyone that saw the video was shocked. Some even cried. That is not a rare case of police brutality, but this incident took it to the extreem.
Some people say Police is your friend. Well, in the case of George, the Policeman was his foe - his killer!
So let us know how the police in your area operates. That's why I asked:
Does police brutality happen in your area?
@focusnow It's not a new trend to me and anyone living around my neighborhood and beyond. To Nigerians and other African countries police is one of our physical enemies, their maltreatment and right abuse of the citizens has become the latest trend in the social media, different stories everyday by the same Men In Black. They are the most corrupt sect I've ever seen; they take bribe to betray and humiliate the citizens they sworn to protect and they feel no remorse about it they shoot sporadically in an open field without considering the innocent lives around them. An incident occurred where a police tortured a man to death to the extent of inserting an object into his manhood in the name of torture, a police shot a young man to death and claimed he was drunk, there are many just to mention but a few
It does happen in here sometimes, but as far as I know most of the times peeps don't disapprove (lol) because the ones that get spanked by the police in here are actual dipshits such as brutal muggers that hurt an old woman and the like.
Police Brutality, Violent Protets i stoo common all over the world. The shit gets very real in Democracy though
