5 different ways to earn HIVE

No 1. Author Rewards

One of the major ways to earn HIVE is by publishing content on the HIVE blog platform. HIVE blog is a place where you can share all the beautiful stories that you can write and you earn when members like (upvote) your posts. HIVE BLOG is such a welcoming place that it supports all manner of subjects. If love posting stories about travels, money, business, flowers, birds, city life, parenting, music, photography, etc, you are welcome to publish them on Hive. Just make sure that what you are posting is original and not copied. If you must include someone else's work, you must indicate that they are not yours. But basically, you post mostly original content. HIVE blog is so organized that you wont have a hard time finding where to post your particular type of content. The are communities on Hive, which are basically interest-based groups that support posts made by their members. For example, here are some communities on HIVE blog.

Faces of HIVE - for selfie lovers

Ask the Hive - Ask any questions and get answers

Hive Gaming - For game lovers

To see all the communities, click here

So after publishing your work, it stays 7 days which is enough time for people to read and react to the publication. As more people click the "like" button, you earn HIVE. at the end of 7 days, 50% of the post earnings is deposited into your wallet while the remaining 50% is shared among the people that upvote the post. Take a look below at some off the earnings of some posts on the platform:

No 2. Curation Rewards

If writing content and posting on HIVE blog is not your thing, then you can focus on curating which is still another fine way to earn HIVE. There are hundreds of interesting articles to read on HIVE blog. Whatever topic you want to read, you can earn by clicking the upvote button below each post. Each time you click the upvote button, the author earns, you the curator also earns. You may wonder how much HIVE tokens a vote earns. Well, it depends on your HIVE power and voting value. Basically, the HIVE power and the voting percentage determines how much your vote is worth. The higher the value of these two components, the bigger the curation reward. You can earn as little as $2 or as high as $20 dollar or more depending on the quantity of your HIVE power and voting percentage.

After a post pays out, 50% of the earnings is paid to the author as author rewards, while the remaining 50% is shared among all those that voted on the post. The curation reward is shared among the voters relative to their voting value. It simply means that the person who voted with the highest value earns the biggest curation reward and so on.

No 3. HIVE power delegation

If you dont want to earn by writing or curating content on Hive blog, you can still earn by delegating your HIVE power to someone else. This is the investors favorite. You simply do nothing after delegating you HIVE power. By delegating, you are simply lending your HIVE power out to someone else who will use it to earn curation rewards and return some agreed percentage to you over a period of time. You are still the owner of the Delegated HIVE power. You can cancel the delegation at any time and the HIVE power returns to you after 7 days. So this is a cool way to earn HIVE by doing simply nothing. There are communities and remarkable individuals that pay a handsome ROI for delegated HIVE power. For example, you could delegate to @tipu and others.

No 4. Contests

Contests represent a huge way to earn HIVE especially for newbies. Contests are set on the platform by individuals and communities to participate in. Each contest has its own rules and a specified period of time. Participants are invited to compete and the prize is set. At the end of the set period, participant entries are analyzed and the best contestants are rewarded with the prize, which is mostly HIVE. So you could earn a significant quantity of HIVE by engaging in contests. Check out some of the contests you could join below:

No. 5 Sell a skill

You can earn HIVE on the platform by performing some services for those that need it. I have been paid HIVE for doing post formatting for a user. If you have computing, programming, designing or other in-demand skills, you could sell such skill in exchange for HIVE. For example, there are amazing Art communities on HIVE blog. If you draw very well, you could have someone hire you to do some art work for them and have them pay you in HIVE. Not just art, but many other skills and even physical products can be paid for with HIVE. In this way, you earn HIVE also by selling a skill or product.

However you look at it, earning HIVE is far more easier than you think. The opporunities to do so are many and varied. Whether by authoring posts, curating, delegating HIVE power, doing contests or selling a skill, you are sure to earn valuable HIVE in these ways. So if you or your friends are still waiting, please stop waiting and step into the HIVE blog by creating an account. Once you are here, earning is very much guranteed in many different ways.
