Lies are everywhere. People lie to decieve, defraud, escape punishment, and so many other reasons. Some lies are really damaging while other lies are completely offensive. Whatever are the reasons, lying is bad and let's our trusts in others go up in smoke.
There is one big lie common in my area. The leaders will always say Police is your friend. But dear, that's a big lie. In my area, police is anything but your friend. We see what they do everyday. So for me, that's the biggest lie from people who should be examples of honesty.
So tell us what is the biggest lie you ever heard?

The biggest lie that I feel persists throughout the world despite being clearly false is that Democracy is the system whereby we fan create liberty and justice in society.
The biggest lie I've ever told is "20% extra!" on Lays chips in a minimarket. I literally tried to compare the one with that tag and the one without it once when my co-worker bought one in a different flavour that didn't have 20% extra for some reason. I think the name itself derived from 'Lies' -_-
