I'm very peculiar when it comes to following people and I tend to take a few things into consideration. Let's see whom I follow and what's the reason behind it:
- @ander.alban : I'm crazy about travelling. I try to avail every oppurtunity when it comes to traveling and I absolutely love engaging with people who share the some love for traveling like me. That's the specific reason why I joined the Pinmapple community and have become a regular blogger in this sharing my traveling blogs. Its from that community I randomly found ander's post in which he was lurking around in the Indian mountains. I was immediately intrigued by it. Left a comment on his post and got to know that he's a German who loves traveling as much as I do. I got in touch with him and I am so excited to mention this that he's been to Pakistan as well. Maybe I can meet him when he visits Pakistan again. Ander if you're reading this, give me an oppurtunity to say Guten Tag to you in person (yes, I have learned deutsch till A2 level xD)
- @technicalside: one more user on Hive, I am following for the love I have for traveling. I found technicalside in pinmapple in which he beautifully presented his visit to the Mossel Bay in South Africa. I found it extremely beautiful and decided to follow him to read his more traveling experiences. Another plus point? He's also a fan of Game of Thrones just like me.
- @nkemakonam89: nkemakonam89 is the team leader of the Newbies Initiative task being going on in the Hive Learners community. Apart from that she's also in the same profession as me, ie, Medicine.
- @floraada: a team member of my newbies initiative task. I followed her to increase engagement between the members of the same team so that we could help each other if we face any issues in the tasks.
- @theycallmewell: similar reason to follow this amazing person from Indonesia. He's in the same team as me in the Newbies Initiative program and following each other increases the engagement.*
- @phortun. I'd be lying if I say that any other person has motivated me more than him on Hive. This amazing amazing person from Czech Republic visited my posts in the initial days of my Pinmapple community, engaged with me and actually motivated me to be a better version of myself. I actually take out time, sit with peace and read his comments with complete attention. He always leaves meaningful comments which means he actually reads ny post. This is a hugeeee reason for me to follow someone. Furthermore he's a traveling enthusiast as well, which means more traveling experiences for me to read. @phortun if you're reading this, know that I really appreciate your words.
- @yousafharoonkhan: a verified member of the Hive Pakistan community and a senior who I respect a lot. We share a lot of views together and I appreciate his advices every now and then.
- @whangster: I got to know about him through someone else's posts. The thing that made me follow him was the NFT badge on his profile. As someone who's really really interested in NFTs, and wants to learn the basics it, I realized he could be the best person to learn from.
- @ayesha-malik: I respect those people a lot who make you feel at home when you've just stepped in a strange place, amongst strangers, in a strange environment. @ayesha-malik was one of those people who welcomed me whole-heartedly on hive and actually made me feel welcomed. I enjoy reading her blogs every now and then.
- @event-horizon: It has been a long journey alongside her. To be honest, we came from the same place at the same time and have a lot of similar stance towards a lot of things. We both had previous experiences of blogging on a Blockchain, we both quit it at the same time and joined Hive. She's someone who has helped me in a lot of different things. We have productive discussions about different things every once in a while. We both share the same views about abuse, plagiarism etc. I haven't seen anyone as strict as her regarding this. Apart from all these things, she's an excellent writer
- @dlmmqb: he's the one who guided me when I first joined Hive. He has helped me in a lot of things on this Blockchain and how things work here. He has enlightened me about the different types of tokens on Hive and is one of the verified members of the Hive Pakistan community. Only today we had the first Hive Pakistan meetup in which him and I met for the first time. It was an amazing experience with him in person and I enjoyed discussing different things with him. You can read about that on my profile :)
Well, that's it from my following. Commenting this made me realize how important engaging with each other is and how it helps you in your growth.
