I've learned that there are good people all around the world. That may seem obvious, but if you do not encounter other cultures you may just go by what you hear about them, which may be negative. I have made so many friends on this platform and met a lot of them at the Steemfest events. Of course there are some 'bad eggs' too, but they are far outnumbered by the good.

Sometimes I wonder if the bad eggs wouldn't be quite as bad if meeting them in real life :)

I think some of them did attend Steemfest under a different name as they might get beaten up otherwise. It would be interesting to talk to them and see if they can handle face to face interaction.
