Even better/easier onboarding and a first class beatufull and fast web and mobile app!

Options for promoting content with burns, integrated promotions in feed, content and user recomendation.

..... and an overall crypto bull run :)

I'm using Esteem, it is a little lagging compared to FB. We do need a faster phone apps and a simple onboarding/registration like any other social media.

yeah, i also have this experience with Esteem

better mobile app and onboarding and retention strategies.....what do you suggest for onboarding ?

First sign up with email and pass, google, facebook signup .... later they can "claim" their account and keys .... meanwhile keep some notification that the account is not claimed.

Agreed on retention, one of the main thing shoul be try to provide support/votes for newbies.

We currently do that with Vimm. I suppose it would be up to the front end if they want to support that. Remember, hive.blog is only supposed to be an entry point for the blockchain. It wasn't meant to be the main front end. Anyone who develops an app/website on the Hive Blockchain can handle their onboarding however they want. I would imagine simplified onboarding on PeakD would theoretically be possible, if the developers made it a priority.

I am quite agree with farizal about the thought, we need something faster.....

Hive should strive to be more content-centric.

lack of marketing, as well as easier on boarding. After that which is the "front" i think we need more curators/trails/groups or whatever that rewards the posts. Therefore the people that join will stay! (thankfully :p)

good points, i am working on some marketing stuff, behind the scenes, as it's not ready quite yet.

Hive feels like Reddit + WordPress where the community is like a subreddit and every post are like Blogs. The only things stopping people from using it was the complicated registration. For most people, they want to just register with existing Social Media account or E-mail.

IMHO, another layer for most people because they just want a simple one click ASAP registration and straight away using it.

yeah, have you tried using hiveonboard.com ? that is very easy to sign up with..

I am still wondering why these things are not reaching people, they use FB, youtube, and other social media for hours, daily. Here they are getting rewards to their content, they become more creative comparing to other media. Still, people are not interested. I verbally contacted few people in my area and ask them to visit hive and steemit websites and I told them I will create accounts for them too...no one is interested, most of the people are thinking this is for some sort of guys...Real Marketing strategy is needed to get people into it...
