I have a couple of friends who are good content writers. I have been thinking, planning, strategizing on how to onboard this my friends to hive.
Although i have spoken to a few of them on how to generate money with their content on hive. Some believed me but have not taken the step to sign up. Others did not believe and thought it is a scam.
It has been giving me a food for thought, how to convince and help this my friends to come onboard on hive, although i'm still a newbie here.
So i decided to bring it to the great minds here, i know you have introduced lots of people to join hive...
How do i convince my friends to join this beautiful community called hive.?
What exactly did you tell those that you brought onboard.

I ask them a question:
"How much are you paid to make posts on Facebook or update your WhatsApp status?" The answer is usually nothing. The I send them a link of one of the communities like Faces of Hive or Gems or Ask the Hive. I ask them to take a look at how much people are being paid to do what they do for free on Facebook.
That approach usually works.

Don't even bother convincing them anymore because it'll make you seem sketchy. Just share your posts on your WhatsApp and talk casually about how you earn from it and other benefits. People will come and meet you.

Make this place too interesting to not join. And then, once they do join? Upvote ALL their posts, make sure they get something going. Maybe even buy a couple SBI shares so they can earn a bit more. There's tons you can do to help them grow.
