After an incredibly close race, we are so excited to announce we are the new president of DCity! By holding SIM, our voting power grows, and now a new consortium of SIM savers has banded together to establish a different power base.
It was so close....in our eyes this is bullish for SIM, because all you have to do to become president is save up your SIM, and get your friends to do the same!
Above you can see the top 25 voters for our candidacy, and below the incumbent. @xxxxxxxxxx will go down in history as the 2nd president of DCity, and isn't out of the running yet for future elections!
The game just got a lot more exciting now that marginal voters have power to determine between candidates! If you want power to negotiate, Save your SIM.
What will be our platform?
No card left behind!
We will keep taxes relatively low while rotating each of the taxes with bonuses so that no card loses its value completely.
Our favorite tax is the Police Tax, we only pay 1% to make crime much more easy to deal with (4 times as effective the police card). But we also support education, art, jobs, Eco and our Military.
Here is our current slate of taxes! We had to get on a creative War footing just to win this election, and we will stay on this footing for a few days while we transition power to the new president.
We have lowered the basic tax to 1%, the minimum salary for a president. We have also set the luxury tax to 30%.
A high luxury tax should discourage the strategy currently dominating the leader board, only focusing on unemployed, unhappy, hive-only rewards.
If they don't change up their strategy, they will just leave 30% of their rewards in the pool, helping it grow faster, or at least diminish less rapidly.
What will be taxes in a few days?
As we finish our transition into power, we will be transitioning to a ECO INFRASTRUCTURE platform.
